P.O.V Hazel

"Finally, you're back," Lola said looking at me. "It took you long enough. Give me my frogs!"

I laughed and threw them at her. If I do get sorted into Gryffindor, I hope Lola will be able to accept me...

P.O.V Lola

We FINALLY got to Hogwarts after the longest ride ever. We saw a Giant telling us where to go. Mom and Dad told me and Hazel that Giants are barbaric. I wonder why Hogwarts would let them into here? Anyway, we followed a lady with a big hat, wearing emerald robes. We got in front of the headmaster of Hogwarts.

(Le time skip because I am lazy)

"Lane, Hazel" Professor McGonagall called out. My sister walked up the steps and sat on the hat.

"Well it is always nice to meet another Lane I suppose, although you aren't like the rest that I meet, no you have a deep ambition, but there is something stronger in you...your bravery and courage to help others. As well as your determination to do the challenging things other people may not try. Best put you in GRYFFINDOR!!!"

WHAT THE BLOODY HELL!! Hazel looked straight at me while walking down the steps towards the enemy table! How dare she! I looked away simply disgusted at the blood traitor and waited for my name to be called.

P.O.V Hazel

I was walking down from the hat and I looked at Lola. As soon as I did she looked away disgusted. I sped up to the Gryffindor table to the nearest spot I could find which happened to be next to Sirius Black.

"You okay Hazel?" He asked me.

"No....Lola won't even look at me...was it a bad choice for me to go to this house?" I said on the verge of tears.

"Nonono" Sirius said hugging me. "I'm the same case. I bet tomorrow I'll be getting a howler from my mother. Then we can laugh together. Okay?"

I nodded and we continued to watch the sorting.

(Timey Skip)

"That concludes the feast, please follow your prefects to your common room." Dumbledore said.

Sirius and his friends got up while talking while I was trying to find Lola. I just really wanted to talk to her. Sadly she was going downstairs to the dungeons while I was going upstairs to my common rooms.

"Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. It is guarded by the Fat Lady, so you must know the password. This week the password is simply Gryffindor." Our prefect said the password and the portrait swung and a door appeared.

We walked through and the girls followed the girl prefect up the stairs to the female dorms. That's when I met my dorm mates.

"Hello there, my name is Lily Evans." A girl with straight red hair smiled at me. "What's your name?"

"Hello, my name is Hazel, Hazel Lane. Do you know the other dorm mates?"

"I know one of them." She pointed to the girl this wavy brown hair. "That's Mary Macdonald. I met her on the train."

Then a girl with messy red hair ran into our dorm. "Hello there. I'm Marlene Mckinnon. Sorry to barge in like that. I followed the prefect all the way to their dorm by accident."

"No worries. I'm Lily, that's Mary, and that's Hazel." Lily smiled again.

"We should probably pick our beds." Mary said.

"I call the bed in the corner!" I said running over to it and I began to unpack.

"Okay, I'll get the one next to you." Lily said.

(Time Skip)

I finished unpacking and Lily and I went down to the common room. Once we were there I saw Sirius.

"Lily come, I wanna introduce you to my friends." I pulled her to the boys. "Boys, meet Lily. Lily, meet boys."

"Why hello beautiful..." James said staring and Lily.

"Well looks like James has a crush now." Sirius said laughing.

"...okay then?" Lily said.

"James stop staring at Lily. You will creep her out." I looked back at Sirius. "You get any howlers yet?"

"Nope, bout you?"

"Thankfully no."

That's when Lily yawned.

"We should go back upstairs, Lily is pretty tired. Night guys." then we walked back up.

Since I was tired too I just changed and went to sleep.

"This is gonna be an odd few years..."
