It was on a dark summers night, the bright, luminous moonlight lit up the trees above him. Unbeknownst to his family, Jungkook has slipped away from his comfort in bed to wander the woods neighboring his home. He had done this quite often, yet still, nobody knew of it. On his strolls, he would often ponder the future. His future in life, work, and love. He wondered about the corners and edges that would forge him into the man he desired to be. But tonight, he had another subject on his mind. For he had recently fallen in love with a girl named Minseo. He had never laid eyes on anyone as purely gorgeous as she. She had shaken his entire world, but he had just discovered that his feelings were not returned. His love not felt from the other direction. Loneliness and desolation flooded into his brain, infecting his entire body. He had longed for nothing more than her love.
As he wandered the dark, fragmentary path ahead of him, he began to hear voices echo through the dark trees.
"Ah, my friend, is there not a night nor day more glorious than tonight?" He heard his good friend Seokjins voice soar through the corner of the woods. Jungkook approached the source of the conversation to find his dearest and closest friends conversing around a campfire. He knew not of this meeting, but advanced towards the group anyway, trusting that his good companions were welcoming towards him always. Seokjin continued his zany elaboration on such a judicious night it had been as Jungkook took his seat next to his other good intimate, Jimin.
"Good, brave, Jungkook, is tonight not one which is absolute in all its ways?" Seokjin rambled on as Jimin wrapped his arm comfortably around Jungkooks.
"Tonight is as brilliant as the sun is cunning, Seokjin." Jungkook abhorred his good companion's inquiry. Jimin, paying mind to Jungkooks heavy addition, moved ever so closer to the apprehensive boy.
"It's Minseo again, huh?" He pushed the question deep into Jungkooks thoughts, coil sending shivers down his spine.
"It appears my love for her is unrequited. My heart feels full as the stream after a fortnight of drought." Jungkook explained his feelings to his two dearest friends. "It hurts to see you this way, Jungkook." Seokjin hops off his log and accompanies Jimin in comforting Jungkook. Just at this moment, a person stomps through the woods, rambling upon itself on a testy subscription which he mistakenly gave his oath towards.
"What task have you which you seek assistance for?" Jungkook chimes forwards, searching to help the coiled boy.
"Sir, my father has given me a letter to which I am tasked to deliver to the following names. Which is unfortunate due to the slightly testy fact that I am illiterate." The boy explained to Jungkook crossly. Swiftly, he handed Jungkook a lengthy size of parchment containing a list of names.
"To all which parties may concern, you are invited to the Capulet household for a party. If you receive this letter, you are open to invitation." Jungkook read the top handwriting of the parchment paper.The Capulets. The name revolves around the boys head. They were a family which was set in the same town as Jungkooks own, the Montagues. These families, Capulets, and Montagues had been known to be in an extremely heated feud over many centuries.
Jungkook felt a blow land on his shoulder as a sign to continue reading the leaflet set before him.
"The guests are to be as followed;
Yoongi, my closest nephew
Hoseok, the Count..." Jungkook continued listing the unfamiliar titles until he stumbled upon one whom he recognized."... and Minseo shall accompany her household." Jungkooks heart seemed to freeze as a dead branch in the brisk winter. His friends turned to stare deeply at him as the name rolled off his tongue fluently. The boy, being dumbfounded at the stone expressions resting upon the plastered faces of Jungkook's companions, thanks Jungkook for reading the names and took his leave.
