I glanced up at the guy facing me. He wasn't from the band. I had seen him hanging around. He smiled at me and I smiled back. He asked my name and we started talking. He bought me a drink, I didn't argue that I wasn't 21, the bartender didn't seem to pay attention. I found myself glancing over at where the band was every little bit. I would be twenty in a few weeks. I was close enough, besides, I wouldn't be driving home, I wasn't reckless, I had known people that had died from driving while drunk or drunk drivers.

Anne had said they were leaving and I told her I was going to stay longer, I would just catch a cab.

The guy started to bore me. His name was Kevin. He talked about himself while he bought me a few more drinks. I just kept drinking them. I figured maybe I would be able to ignore him if I drank. It didn't work. Eventually I got fed up.

I've got to use the bathroom ok?' I stood up and walked away without looking back. I glanced around. I found myself kind of stumbling. Apparently this is what it was like to be drunk.

I blinked a few times and walked to the bathroom sitting down. I leaned back against the wall and closed my eyes. The room was spinning. I willed myself not to puke..i must have fallen asleep..

---------------------------------------------

I opened my eyes and rubbed them. I was in someone's room. It wasn't mine. My eyes kinda widened and I sat up, looking around. The sun was coming through the curtains. I sat up and looked down. I was still in my clothes, my shoes were off though. At least I knew I hadn't slept with anyone. I had clothes on. I looked around. There were shoes, a few shirts on the floor.

There was a suitcase there. The tv in the corner was off, i turned, the bed behind me was empty and still half made, so it wasn't slept in. I could determine I was in a hotel room. I heard the sink in the bathroom to my right turn on and I tensed.

I pulled the blankets off me and slid my feet to the floor. I closed my eyes and sat still. The sudden movement made my head spin. I let out a small groan and looked around for my phone. I found a bottle of water and a few pills by the bed, no doubt for my hangover. But I didn't take them.. I don't take things if I don't know what they are. The water shut off and the door opened. I looked up straight ahead.

In front of me is the girl I was trying to avoid. Dianna's hair was wet, so I assume she showered. She was in tan sweatpants and a plain blue t-shirt. She smiled at me. I just closed my eyes again and looked down.

She spoke first.

I set out some pills for you to take. They will help with your hangover' she said. I nodded, I took them. I trusted her for some reason. I stood and kinda stumbled.

She grabbed my arms to steady me. I felt like a train wreck. I was sure I looked like one too. I kinda shook my head and slid past her to the bathroom. I shut the door and I leaned to the counter looking at myself in the mirror, I was right on how I looked.

My hair was messy, my makeup was smeared. I was sure my breath didn't smell fresh. I turned on the water and washed my face. I fixed my makeup, wiping off the smear and finger brushed my hair until I looked presentable. I fixed my shirt and sighed and watched a blush come to my cheek. My blue shirt was crooked, I had a backless bra because my shirt showed my back. It was crooked. I was beyond embarrassed. I waited a few more seconds and walked out. The bedroom was empty. I sighed in relief and grabbed my shoes. I looked around for my phone. I couldn't find it. Moving slowly, so the room didn't spin again.

I walked out of the room to the smaller living room and kitchen area. Dianna was there. She was making food. She looked over.

Are you hungry?' she said. I nodded and sat at the little table there. She smiled at me.

Are you ok?' she asked. I looked up.

I just woke up in apparently your hotel room. No.i'm not ok..and I lost my phone, my head kinda hurts...I don't know where we are...' I said. Looking down. She sat by me setting a plate down. She put her arm around me and I leaned into her.

You smell good' I said, without thinking. I instantly blushed as her small laugh filled the room. I shook my head and smiled. I relaxed more and sat up again. Dianna looked at me.

Would you want to go do something today? Like, maybe we can go to lunch or wherever. Catch up some. It's been a few years.' she said, rubbing her arm, I smiled at her.

I didn't have class today. It was the weekend. I felt my heart skip a beat. Was she asking me on a date? No, she wasn't. She's just being nice. A bold part of me appeared from somewhere in my subconscious, a part I didn't use often. I was often shy, especially when it came to dating or even just being around good looking people.

Sure, lunch would be awesome' I said, the bold part inside me clapped and did a little dance as Dianna smiled. I looked down at my clothes again and kinda laughed.

Maybe you could swing me by my apartment and I'll get changed first?..' I asked,

Dianna nodded at me and we started talking. Just like that I felt like, if I smiled any more my face would fall off.

And just like that I found myself falling for Dianna Wong...again.
