Chapter 3: Farewell...For Now

(At Urth after Telana and Stas get in and order)

Telana- Oh my god, have you heard about The Boy Band Project losing Zac?

Stas- I heard about that. What happened? He was so good.

Telana- Rumor has it that Brandon stole his girlfriend. Zac left because he didn't trust them and he feels like he needs to go solo to save his dreams.

Stas- I can respect that. I remember on set of their video when Zac was choosing his lead girl and Kylie wanted to be the lead role for Zac. Such a fame whore *laughs hard at herself*

Telana- *dies laughing* Oh my god! That's so true. She's such a bitch sometimes. Did you hear about her and Kalin? They're probably about to break up, she's been hitting on a bunch of other guys and Kalin has set his mind on Kendall.

Stas- Good for Kalin! *laughs* Wait, is it weird that I can talk about my exes as if they're my best friends? Because he's a great guy and all I just I can't see him and I as more than friends. You know?

Telana- Exactly! Yes Stas, it's fine. I talk about Kalin all the time and I dated him twice. Had Stella not come around who knows, we might've still been together today. *straightens her smile out*

Stas- Ehhhh...but now a days boys are in to hit and quit. Take my boyfriend for example. He wants one side of me. That's a side I don't ever show. I can't be expected to live as someone I'm not just for someone who likes to expand his ego. Like I don't have time for that.

Telana- Same here. Jake always tells me how I should act, dress, talk, sound, anything that isn't what I am now, he wants me to be. I can't change for someone who isn't willing to change for me. Because I wouldn't change anything but his attitude. But he'd change everything except mine. I can't handle it anymore.

Stas- Then you need to leave him. Nobody deserves to be treated that way...*looks at her reflection on her phone screen and lowers her voice* except me...

Telana- *sets Stas's phone down and looks at her* Not you. Not you at all. You're so sweet and nice. You're way too down to earth to deserve any of this. Listen to me, I know you're hurt but you can't let this all bother you and change who you are. *gets a call from Zac and looks at her phone* Oh..umm..

Stas- Answer it, he obviously needs something...*sits back in her chair and waits for her food to come*

Telana- It'll take 5 min- *gets cut off*

Stas- Just go.

Telana- *answers her phone and walks outside* Hello..? *talks to Zac*

Stas- *gets her and Telana's food brought in and set down* Thank you.. *pushes her plate aside and takes out her phone* Someone's gotta do it... *texts Jake about Telana and breaks them up* Please don't be a fast replier.. *lays her head on the table and covers her face with her arms*

Telana- *hangs up and walks back in and sits down* Anastasia. Get up.

Stas- *ignores Telana's request but adds* You and Jake broke up..

Telana- Really?? How?

Stas- I texted him.

Telana- Did he reply back?

Stas- No.

Telana- Oh... Alright then...

Stas- Why so quiet? *sits up*

Telana- I just got an extremely unexpected call, that's all..

Stas- about?

Telana- Well.. Jake's been cheating on me.

Stas- With??

Telana- ....His ex....*drinks her tea and pretends not to be upset*

Stas- oh... *gets a text from her boyfriend* He..he broke up with me.

Telana- why??

Stas- he found somebody new apparently..? *shows her a picture of him and his new somebody*

Telana- HIM???

Stas- *holds back her laughter*

Telana- no you're joking. That can't be real.

Stas- *laughs* it's been real for a while!!

Telana- Bullshit!! *reads the caption* DECEMBER 1ST?! HELL NO YOU CANNOT SIN LIKE THIS THIS IS NOT A GOOD RELATIONSHIP YOU DONT LOVE HIM DUDE GET OVER YOURSELF *rants on and makes Stas laugh so hard she's crying*

(At Zac's house)

Zac- Dude, can I ask you a question? I know I'm older and I should know this stuff but you're good with the ladies and all..

Nic- Oh *laughs* sure bro, what's up?

Zac- Well Telana and I have been talking about me leaving the band and why...and she says her friend Stas is going through the pain I've been going through. Remember that blonde girl with the eyes at the shoot a few months ago?

Nic- Oh her?? She's hot.. *laughs* but yeah, I mean you should talk to her. Maybe she's got some things you can relate to.. I don't know honestly. I don't know her that well.

Zac- Neither do I... But something tells me that if I don't talk to her somehow I'll regret it. But if I just come out of no where she might laugh at me.. *thinks back to on set of Find That Girl when Kylie laughed at him for trying to talk to her* I can't deal with anymore humiliation.

Nic- What about Kendall? She never did anything to you.

Zac- *thinks back to when Kendall replaced him with Kalin* Yeah, ummm.. She's not important anymore. Plus she happy with someone else and I respect that.

Nic- Zac, do what your heart tells you to do. If you gotta talk to Stas you gotta do it... I can't help much because I can't read exactly what you're thinking. You know yourself how tightly guarded you are. *checks his watch and grabs his bag* I have practice until 7, I'll see you later. *fist pounds Zac and walks outside to his mom in the car*

Zac- *replays Nic's words in his head* You know yourself....tightly guarded....tightly guarded...*shakes his head to snap out of his gaze and heads to his room to plan*
