"I really don't think we should be doing this Liz, my parents would kill me" I complain to my bestfriend Elizabeth. The reason for my complaing would be the fact that Elizabeth or 'Liz' as I would call her had invited me over to her home for one of our not-so-famous sleepovers when her older brother Hayden had told us that he was inviting a few friends over for a 'get together' while there parents were away on buisness for the weekend. But ofcourse that small 'get together' had turned into a huge party with many senior students drinking and grinding all over each other in an r-16 matter. I could even hear the faint sound of moaning coming from the guest bedroom situated down the hall; I don't even want to know what's going on in there.

Liz had gotten this crazy idea that we should go down there and join them because as she said "When is the next time we will be at a party full of seniors? This is a once in a life time opportunity Maddy!" But ofcourse me being the goody-good that I am felt a little more than reluctant to join her.

I have never been to a party, never had a taste of alcohol and have never done anything that would be remotely clased as rebelious. If I were to sum my life up in one word, it would be BORING. B. O. R. I. N. G. A six letter adjective that is enough to describe how tedious and dull my life truley is but I guess that I like it that way because I feel safe inside my comfort zone. I am a complete boring person and I like it that way, or so I tell myself.

"I don't want to get in trouble" I confess to her as I keep my eyesight trained on my ratty old black converse, I really need to invest in a new pair.

"Your parents aren't going to find out! My parents won't either, its not like this is the first time Hayden has randomly decided to throw some huge ass party" She exclaims as she jums up and down on her queen sized bed.

"He said this would just be a small get together" I'm almost embarassed by how innocent I sound right now.

"I will never get use to how naieve you are my friend". I heave out a sigh. She's right, i'm so naieve and ignorant to the idea of 'letting-loose' and having fun. No one said you have to have alcohol to have fun.

"Okay fine we can go downstairs but don't you dare leave me by myself, I could get raped or something" I feel a shutter go through my body at the thought, almost making me want to change my mind and just stay in her bedroom and watch a movie, where it is safe.

"YAY!" She squeals. "I will find us something to wear". She was out of her closet almost as soon as she went in with a few articles of material hung over her arms.

"Here put this on" She throws what looks like a short, Navy blue dress onto my lap. Looking over the dress I can already feel my heart-beat pick up and my hands become sweaty, why was I so nervous? Because you have never done anything like this before in your life, what would mum and dad think of you if they knew what you were thinking of doing? A voice in my head taunts.

"I'm not wearing this Liz" I tell her as I walk out of her bathroom."This dress barely covers my butt"

"You lookf fine-"trailing off, she looks me up and down examining the outfit. The blue dress finishes at around mid-thigh and shows off alot and im not over-exagerating when I say ALOT of skin. Insecurities attack my self-esteem as soon as I glance at my bestfriend, wearing a purple dress that is tight around her chest area showing off her D-cup boobs and flares out when it gets to her waist, ending above her knees. She had paired the dress with a pair of black heels some simple silver bracelets and a damond ring she had recieved from her parents for her 17th birthday three months ago.Her make-up was stunning to say the least, her eyes had been given a smokey look to them and had appled clear lipgloss to her naturally pink lips. Her shoulder length blonde har was naturally straight so she was fortunate enough to never have to do anything to it. Unlike my untameable brown locks that are far too wavy for my liking.
