"John? John? Are you here, John?" as John heard those words he opened his eyes, finding finding himself in his usual dream environment, the green planes where he was separated with Mary.
"Who said that...? That's not what usually happens in the dream." asked John, realising where he is. "John? Please answer me!" the sane voice repeated. "Where are you? I can't see you." responded John. No answer came from the voice. "John! John, please!!" the voice continued asking, but not answering. "Damn it..." John thought as he began walking around, seemingly going nowhere.
Before John had realised it, the green grass in these plains had turned black, rotten. The clear sky began get darker and darker. "JOHN! JOHN!!!" the voice continued filling John's head. "Wait...I can't..." continued John, trying to finish his sentence. "Okay, okay. That's enough!" came a familiar voice, breaking the abnormalities of John's dream.

John opens his eyes, gasping and swimming in sweat. "What the hell...was that?" thought John as he looked over at his alarm clock. "6:12AM...I got more sleep this time." said John as he got up and outs his uniform on. "Was everything that happened a dream?" thinks John as he feels different. "He leaves his room quietly, checking if Chris is awake with his usual knock."
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"Yeah?" comes a voice from inside, surprising John. "You're awake?" he asked. "Sure I am!" responded Chris with enthusiasm. "What do you want for breakfast today?" he asked again. "Whatever will do..." Chris said, filling John with joy, since what happened yesterday didn't really happen. "Then I'll--" "Just not your annoying american breakfast like yesterday!" Those words, filling John's head with worries, causing him to recall every single moment from yesterday in a flash.
"T-then I'll just make you some toast. I'm too tired today, anyway." said John. "Sure!" said Chris from inside his room. "It all happened. It was for real?" thought John as he went down to the kitchen and out the slices of bread inside the toaster.
With Chris coming out of his room, they sit down around the kitchen table, sitting across each other. "So...How was your first day yesterday?" asked John. "A little late to ask now, isn't it?" replied Chris with a side of anger." Look, I had a difficult day yesterday..." tries to explain John. "It's always about you, right?" said Chris as he looks at John. "No. That's not tru--" "I'm sick of you lying to me!! What the hell made yesterday so hard for you, huh?!" yells Chris as he quickly loses his temper, beginning to pant out of exhaustion. "I can't tell you." said John. "I get it..." Chris said as he grabbed his bag and walked towards the door, leaving the house and closing the door behind himself, leaving John there alone. "Of course I can't tell him. How could I?" thought John as he finished his toast and left the house, bowing in front of it after locking the door.
As John reaches the school, his fears and worries begin to return to him. He begins to feel...scared. He enters the school building, getting weird looks and looking at people whispering while looking at him. Entering his classroom, all eyes were glued onto him. "What?" he asked everyone in the classroom. "H-hey, John? What happened after school yesterday?" asked Martina with obvious nervousness in her voice, hidden behind her smile. "That? Me and Shawn had an accident. That's all." said John to Martina. "What kind of accident? Today we found the janitor finishing up cleaning a pool blood. And some boy was going around telling it was you who caused it. What happened?" asked Martina, doing her best to hide her worries. "Wait...There was a second guy yesterday with that cyclops. Damn it...He probably ran away." thought John as he began to get annoyed. "It was just...Self defense. Me and Shawn were attacked. That's all I'm saying about it." quickly said John as he sat down in his seat.
As the classes of the day went on, the students grew weary of John. Martina began to doubt what John had told her. And John himself felt intimidated, without being able to show it.
With the second period done, Martina couldn't hold it in anymore. "John! You're coming with me!" she yelled, getting everyone's attention. "What is it?" asked John. "Come outside with me." she said with a more confident tone. As they exit the classroom, they close the door behind them, leaving the other students whispering and the teacher grinning.
"What the hell happened yesterday?! Tell me!" she said with an angry and confused tone. "Even I'd I told you, you wouldn't believe me." said John. "How so? So am I supposed to believe you lied to me about being human?" asked Martina with anger and confusion in her voice. "Fine. I wasn't lying to you. That I can promise." said John. "Okay, then what happened yesterday?" she asked again. "We were leaving the school. It happened after you left, obviously. These guy tried to bully Shawn, they ended up hurting me, and Shawn killed one of them. There's your abridged version." said John nonchalantly. "Killed...? That kid did?" she asked. "I was a little surprised too. The kid's what you called a King Type." he said while looking a little confused himself. "Shawn?! Him of all people is one of them?! But there's only about 3 or maybe 5, I don't know..." she responds with, filled with disbelief. "After I saw what that kid did, I was a little out of it, too." John said. "At least I know...You didn't like to me." said Martina quietly. As they talked for a couple more minutes, John heard a quiet bell sound. "Huh?" muttered out John as he turned his head towards where he heard the sound coming from. "Eh? What's wrong now?" asked Martina. "I thought I heard something weird just now..." John said as he scratched his head. "Let's head inside for now." suggester Martina. "Yeah. Sure." agreed John.
As their school day continued, lunch break came. Martina stood up from her desk, walking over to John. "What is it now...?" asked John. "Wanna eat lunch?" asked Martina. "What...? This school has lunch hour?" asked John. "Well, yeah. Monster schools are closely structured to resemble Japanese schools. Something about origins or whatever!" said Martina. "Is that so...? What's a goof spot for lunch then?" John asked in return. "Well, back in middle school, I ate lunch at the school roof by myself. Wanna go there?" she asked with a smile. "Sure. Nothing better to do." responded John as he stood up only to be met with the same bell sound, only louder. "What the hell? Again?" John thought as he began walking outside with Martina.
As they begin to walk up the stairs, John began to hear the bells. They were becoming louder and louder with every step, ringing inside John's head. As he kept it to himself, since Martina didn't seem to notice, they reached the roof. With Martina opening the door, John gets hit by some sort of wave, knocking him to his knees. "What's wrong, John?! Hey! Get up!!" said Martina, worried. "Has he arrived?" asked someone, apparently waiting for them.
"What the hell...? I can't hear anything. This too loud." says John as he stood up. "He can't hear anything? Why?!" thought Martina. "Welcome to my hideaway..." said a young woman as she appeared from her hiding place. "Who's she...?" though John as he struggled to even think. As John began to put the pieces together, he began to walk towards the girl. As he reaches her, she stands there amused. "You can stop. It's obvious enough you're an Illusion Type." said John, uncertain if the girl heard him. "Good enough for someone like you..." said the girl, shocking Martina. The ringing in John's ears stops. "Finally...Now. Who the hell are you?" asked John with an annoyed tone.
