(this is much different from the previous chapters. This is written like an actual fanfiction and everyone is included here. I kept messing up the heat haze's name. His name is Nonemu. and yes, I've finally given the blue spirit a name)

The day had endlessly continued to repeat over and over again. The day that Hibiya constantly fails at saving the love of his life, Hiyori. No matter how much time had passed, it was like there was no hope. No hope would shine in a tragic alternate world such as that. All light was blocked off. Or so they thought. Nenomu couldn't help but smirk as his helpless little Hibiya continued to be drained of the light that was so called hope. It kept draining and draining as he kept repeating those hopeless days in an foolish attempt to save his unrequiated love. Yet, the boy still gets up and tries to reach out to her, as if he was nothing but a robot programmed to do that at this point. Even when his skelenton was practically showing, he didn't stop. He'd keep repeating the same actions over and over again until he was finally dead, no matter how useless it seemed. Until he was completely broken. But once again, the poor brunette had failed. Just like many other times. How many times has it been? Ah.. he had lost count a long time ago. He dropped to his knees as the scream of his love had ripped through the air. The scent of blood filled the air as her blood was painted everywhere. She sounded very much alive when she met her doom no matter how many times she had died. However, Hibiya was completely numb to it all. Her screams no longer bothered him. He was very much broken. Too dead on the inside to even cry out her name. However, tears streamed down the right side of his oh so delicate cheek as he stared at his own hands. It was the only proof he had that he was still... even a little alive. He felt like Hiyori's blood was stained onto his hands. He felt guilty for never being able to save her. Like... he was the one that killed her.

How dare he. How dare the heat haze steal Hibiya's form and torture him. It could've been as if Hibiya himself was actually the one that killed her and is trying to save him at the same time but such trickery wouldn't work on him. He KNEW he didn't have an ounce of sadism in him. Yet he still wondered if the giant mess of ketch up was a fragment of his imagination or if others could see the red spirit if a chance ever arrived where they were in reality. Forget him. How dare SHE! How dare the blue spirit take on the form of the love of his life. She never bothered to communicate with him. She was kind of mysterious. The blue spirit would simply stare blankly at the boy but it was hard to tell what she thinking. She was a girl of very few words. He had yet to hear her voice. But one thing was for certain. She was the heat haze's companion. And that makes her an enemy. She was nothing like Hiyori. So he can be rest assured that the heat haze wasn't actually him, himself. Of course, the thought of her having some supernatural powers or possibly being a God never crossed his mind. He was too busy mourning for Hiyori to even wonder why she was around.

"How wonderful~ how truly wonderful!" Nenomu would laugh out hysterically. He was a bit amused that Hibiya was still able to cry. He walked up to Hibiya from behind. He would crouch down and put a pale hand over the brunette's eyes, snaking his other arm around his waist. The heat haze was warm. "If only you could still scream" his hot breath sounded out into Hibiya's ears. "But don't worry." He licked the tears off of Hibiya's cheek. "You'll become completely numb to everything soon. No tears will be spilled..." His crimson red eyes then looked over at Hibiya's hands. "No guilt will be shown. You'll soon feel nothing for the girl. Absolutely nothing. And the day that you give up on saving her is the day that you finally truly become mine." He laughed darkly. Yes. Nenomu was jealous of the girl. He had wanted Hibiya all to himself. To possess. To devour. He wouldn't give up until no matter how Hibiya had turned out, his body... soul... his everything would belong to him. And the red head didn't care about how he would receive the boy. Broken is fine. Being dead is fine. As long as Hibiya wasn't physically dead. Nenomu would love every scrap.. every piece of Hibiya he'd get. At first, Hibiya hated the red head. He was always so fiesty and would never let Nenomu even touch him. He kept telling him how he would find a way to save her. But all of it had stopped. He held no reaction towards the red head. He no longer seemed to mind that Nenomu was holding him. At first, it felt like Nenomu was dirtying Hibiya's skin when they came into contact. But now, with all the guilt the boy had felt, he felt like he was the same kind as Nenomu. Never being able to save Hiyori... maybe this was how things were meant to be? He already felt soiled. So Nenomu soiling him even more would make no difference. He was already tainted. And... he had desperately longed for someone to hold him. For someone to tell him that everything was going to be okay. Nenomu holding him like this was as close as he could get to comfort. It became the highlight of his day. Poor Hibiya. "Now it's time to play again. We're going to play again and again until you start calling out my name instead of Hiyori's like a broken record." The red head said sadistically. No. He didn't want to repeat it! He just wanted time to stop there. "Please no. STOP IT!" Hibiya would beg. But the heat haze would only give him a smug grin before returning to the past once more.
