A little glow of green was making it way down a long stone corridor. The sound of boots and feet hitting the ground. A drawing of a woman in white vail standing over a group of worshipers appeared, the sun behind her head. There were words carved into the stone next to it.
"Manaba was a good leader, she brought a lot of crops, she made peace with any rival clan and spirits, it seemed as if she was on top of the world." Abigail's voiced echoed.
"But she wasn't right in the head. Even though she was loved by everyone, she only wanted one person love. Kai." On the other side of the wall, it showed a woman. Bucky was confused,
"Manaba loved her but to seemed that Kai didn't share the same affection. Manaba had given her immortal sleep, death, to The Windmaker to come back for the tribe and Kai, mostly for Kai after seeing her heartbroken. When she came back, Kai had told her that she should have stayed dead, something broke in her."
They walked further down the tunnel. They stopped at in the drawing of Manaba in what looked like distress, many black figures around her.
"She may have been acting fine for a while but as said before, The Winemaker was a Wendigo, so his people came and told her secrets about everyone in the world, learning that death and destruction and many horrid things existed, she feared them all. She didn't expect out of everything, her own people we doing the same thing, but only one affected her badly."
They waked turned around. It was a drawing of Kai kissing another man with Manba looking shocked and heartbroken. Bucky was surprised and looked down at Abigail, sadness sat on her face. She must still hurt, even from so long ago.
"She had found her own wife, someone she loved very dearly committing one of those hands crimes. After that, she listened to the Windigo's, telling that Kai has been doing it for a long time. She had decided that she would restart the world, getting rid of all these evil deeds, to cleanse all her tribespeople, and to make Kai pure. She was going to release the Windigos out to cleanse the earth. But The Windmaker saw what was happening and tried to stop her."
She showed the next picture, it was The Windmaker telling Kai of Manaba's plan.
"He went to Kai and told her what she had seen and told her of her plan. They had decided to stop her. Manaba went to the village's shaman and killed her, taking her heart, she must have a witches heart to complete the ceremonies, so I do fear for Wanda, but back to the story. When she got the heart she sacrificed it to the Windigo's and the gates were opened. The Windigo's started to attack her people, liking them so they could feast on them, or as they told her, to eat the evil away."
They showed the next painting. It was Manaba, standing at an altar, a giant light blue orb behind her with demons flying out of it.
"She was deceived and ticked by fear to do something she knew was bad, but she couldn't help it. She had all the power in the universe in the tip of her fingers, flowing through her veins, that she didn't stop, so she joined the Windigo's in killing her people, eating them, or just watching them suffer."
"Why did she listen to them?" Bucky asked her.
"She thought she could trust them, they did tell her that they are The Windmakers friends, but they used her to get what they want and said it was okay for her to do these things. She was looking for a way to make life better and they had promised to do that."
"It was a horrible mistake." Bucky sighed.
They looked at the drawing of Kai and Manaba fighting. Kai had a spear and a shield fighting Manaba who held a black spike with green fire around her hand that was reaching for Kai.
