The light filtered in through the glass, causing my eyes to flutter and open. Today is the day.
I sit up and look around the room, my eyes landing on the female still sleeping in her bed on the opposite side of the room.
I stretched my arms, and slowly heaved myself out of my bed. I walked over to the food chest and grabbed myself some bread for breakfast.
Nibbling on the loaf, I walk up to the window, gazing out into the village. Like every morning, the villagers scooted about, waiting for trades.
My eyes, like every morning, landed on Seto. His cape swayed in the wind. His face half concealed by his hood. The red creeper face amulet glowing red.
He waved to the villagers, as he did every morning, occasionally, the villagers needed help from him, but not very often.
Today, he carried on walking, heading straight for my house. I smiled and walked over to Squeaker, shaking her lightly to stir her.
"Hmmmmmph, five more minutes please, or hours." she groaned, turning over.
"Yeah, all in due time, Seto's coming over." I say soothingly, laughing at her enthusiasm.
She sat up, looking at me with half open eyes.
"I am not... a morning person." she said, slightly grinning at me. Her new eyes dull with tiredness.
We both jumped as knocking erupted at our door. I ran over and opened the door.
The sorcerer stood at the door, looking grand as ever, as all of the leaders did.
Seto smiled up at me and waved.
"Come in." I said, pointing inside. Seto nodded and walked inside, sitting down on one of the seats.
"I take it you know why I am here." Seto said, giving both of us a concerned look.
Squeaker climbed out of her bed and joined me, hugging me from
behind.
I nodded. "Yeah."
Seto looked at me and Squeaker, giving us that look, the look that said everything.
"So I'm guessing you two are..."
He finished his sentence by letting his arms flail about, pointing at both of us.
Me and Squeaker nodded, a smile finding its way on to my face once again.
Seto smiled, giving us a thumbs up.
"Do you remember what you are supposed to do?"
I nodded, letting the instructions I gave myself float through my head once again.
"Ok, I will be here if you need anything, if you need help, just pop in. If I'm not in, just knock on the door, I have a spell casted on me that lets me know when someone knocks on the door."
I nodded, looking at the floor. I guess it could be interesting to find out about my past, but how they acted when I walked in that time... I'm not really looking forward to it.
I just want to apologise to them.
Seto stood up, his cape flowing down his back.
"I will be leaving now, you may start when you feel you are ready." He said, walking towards the door.
He turned back and smiled at us. His hand on the door.
"Good Luck."
