Tell Me Why"

Unknown P.O.V.

"Are you sure shes ready to know"?

"She's only fourteen Ketro".

I looked up at the high council Elder, he was waiting for me to respond.

"With all due respect sir, I've been watching Sage keeping track of her motion's and action's".

"And you know for certain that she's activated her powers"?

Elder said as he looks more at Ms. Sage's file, his face deep in thought.

"If what you said is true then she will be in danger".

"Just like a bird hatching from its egg , it will be a while before she can learn to

spread her wing's and fly out into the world".

I nodded in agreement, Sage needs to know.

"Ketro return back to Sage and keep an eye on her day and night, but with more caution.

I bow then said"As you wish Elder".

Then I teleport to earth, carrying a leather wrapped package in my arms.

Sage P.O.V.

"Why won't they believe me"?!

I said as I leaped onto my bed and screamed into my pillow with rage.

"I was the good guy this time, for once I helped someone and almost was killed in the process for it".

My face was moist with tears, I wiped my face with my shirt then

Turned over on my back I look up at the ceiling.

Almost the whole ceiling had a poster or a drawing of mine.

Most of them were Sonic the hedgehog posters that I bought or won in contests.

"Sonic's a hero, he helps all kinds of people, and people like that he cares about others so deeply".

I sigh," But nobody cares if I help others".

"Even my foster mom thinks I'm a failure".

"I barely have any friends,well except Snow".

"I wish something would happen that would make my life liveable".

Getting up to get my backpack by my computer I hear mom and dad talking downstairs.

I leaned against my door and tried to hear what they were saying.

"This is the fifth time she's come home looking like a walking

punching bag"! Mom yelled.

Moving away from the door I pull my math homework out of my bag and tried to do it.

But I ended up falling asleep with my textbook now on the floor...

Unaware that Josh came in when I was asleep and pulled my blanket over me, and left a note.

The next day

"Hey Sage wake up, we need to talk".

Josh said to me as I wake up at the crack of dawn just for him.

"W-what do you want Josh"?

Looking at him his face was a mix of concern and frustration.

"Did you read my note"?

Huh a note?

I looked behind to see a folded piece of paper with my name on it.

"No I guess not, why"?

Josh then sat on my bed and looked at me.

Ok now this is weird.

"Sage you may think mom and dad are not fair, and dislike you more than me."

"The truth is they only do this to protect you."

"Your a danger lover, you love to push the rules".

I laughed "Your the one to talk"!

"You get in trouble a lot". I said as I climbed out of bed.

Josh looked at me with a deep soul less look.

"Just quit worrying mom, she thinks about you a lot". Then he stood up and walked out of my room closing the door behind him.

Leaving me standing there in my room wondering what just happened..

"Huh interesting end to this chapter".

"The guy at the beginning of the chapter will show up in chapter 6".

"Sorry for being lazy on the story writers block". :(
