LOST HOPE (COMPLETED)

CH 20- MOVING DAY

Brody's POV

After we were both showered and ready to leave we went down to grab some food. Luna Brianna was making breakfast and Brooke was at the table already munching on a piece of bacon as we walked in.

"Hey there you guys hungry?" Brianna said to us. I picked up a piece of bacon and popped it into my mouth as I grabbed a plate for each of us. I handed one to Hope and pulled her into my lap. Her blush earned a grin from Brianna. "Matthew and I only found each other last year. I get it." We hurriedly made our plates and continued eating.

"Hope is moving in today!"

"That's great!" Brooke said as she tackled my mate in a bear hug and stole the bacon from my hand and popped it into her mouth. Brianna laughed as I tried not to fall out of the chair.

"Brooke! I'll get you back for that!" She just gave me an evil smile and flicked me on the nose like a naughty puppy.

"Son of a- be right back babe!"

Brooke's eyes widened and she took off running out of the house with me chasing her. I tackled her on the front lawn and gave her a wedgie that made her scream with laughter. I sauntered back in laughing, picked Hope up and sat back down like it was all normal and good.

Brooke came inside trying to pull her underwear out of her ass. "Be right back." She murmured as she went into the bathroom to fix the problem.

Brianna and Hope looked at each other and busted out laughing. Hope had tears in her eyes and Brianna was snorting, she was laughing so hard.

It was another hour before we left to go back to the Silver Moon pack house. Before we got there Hope linked Jaxon.

Jax? Where are you and your parents?

Oddly enough, we are all in the kitchen. Why what's up?

How do you think they will take the news that I'm moving into Dark Moon today with Brody?

Come on! You just got here!

Jax, you are the one who told me I couldn't fight the bond. You knew this would happen.

I know, they are okay with it. Dad's a little gruff about it being Dark Moon but you can't do anything about it so he'll get past it.

Okay, we are almost there.

As soon as I pulled the truck up and shut the door Jaxon came out and offered me his hand to shake. Hope and I followed him inside to talk to his parents in the kitchen. Aunt Sherry pulled her into a hug.

"I'm so happy for you two. I take it you told him." Hope nodded and looked at me then smirked at Sherry, as she slipped an arm around my waist. "You were right. He didn't blame me at all and he still wants me."

My arm snaked back around her and pulled her tighter into my side. "Always will." I kissed her head and Jaxon made a face at us that made Hope laugh. After shoving all of Hope's things into bags and boxes we loaded up the truck and she kissed her Aunt and Uncle and promised to stop in once a week at least.

Her uncle shook my hand and gripped it harder than was necessary. "If you hurt her, nothing will stop me from ripping you to shreds." I nodded when he let go of my hand.

"I understand sir."

Luna Sherry playfully smacked her husband's chest. "Don't take him too seriously, he said the same thing to Matthew last year when he took Brianna."

Hope's eyes widened. "You mean Brianna is my cousin?" I grinned and nodded.

"Sorry babe, I didn't realize that you didn't know that."

Sherry and Derrick both laughed and Jaxon opened his arms and Hope slid into them and hugged him tightly. I knew they were very close and I was okay with it. Jax and I didn't always see eye to eye on things but he was a good guy and I was glad he was protective of her.

"Love you little cuz."

"Me too Jax."

He released her and she went and got in the truck.

"Brody, that rogue at the school,"

"Yeah?"

"He is in our cells. When do you want to come by and question him with me?"

My wolf growled out in anger at the rogue and I glanced back at Hope in the truck playing with the radio. "How about Monday after I drop her off at school?"

"Sounds good. I'll be here." I shook his hand and headed back to the truck. I climbed in and pulled her to me and kissed her lips.

"You ready babe?" Hope cuddled into my side happily and we headed back to Dark Moon.
