After a couple minutes I could feel Jackson leg against mine, and that's when I realized how close we actually were. I could feel the color rushing to my face in a matter of seconds.
"Umm... Sky... you alright?" I turned as I felt his hand on my knee and and moved my knee so his hand would fall off.
"Yea... I'm fine." I gave a slight smile so he wouldn't question it. I looked back down towards the court suddenly finding it very interesting. We sat like that for the rest of the class, just talking about random stuff like our hobbies and stuff like that.
The rest of the day went by in a blur. The sound of the last bell echoed through the entire building. It was almost impossible to get my locker to put my things in and to get my bag out. As I closed my locker the halls were a little more spacious, so I was easily able to get student parking lot. When I opened the double doors... what do you know, Jackson was out there examining my 2017 Jeep Wrangler.
"Uh... Hey." I asked trying not to make eye contact, as I felt all the blood rushing to my cheeks.
"Hey, is this yours?" He said pointing behind him, at my car. When I look up he's back to circling the grey jeep taking in every detail.
"yea, I just got it about a month ago." I said while observing how big his strides were as he circled my car. As I was walking to the driver side door, I could tell he wanted to ask something.
