十二: Clarity

[Taehyung's POV]

Jennie knew Donghan very well. And she knew how the fuckboy behaved so badly. Donghan was my childhood friend as well. I was the one who introduced him first to Jennie. But our friendship ended for he almost scolded Jennie by trying to take her virginity away.

Yes. He almost raped Jennie and honestly that was the worst. That incident was where I left a scar on his cheekbone, almost four years ago, but it still looked fresh as Jennie told me.

I wiped her tears, she sobbed, and widened my smile. "Did you tell your parents about this?" She nodded. "Now, calm yourself down, girl. Promise me, not to cry anymore?" I ruffled her hair, then she excused to the bedroom of hers.

It was awful.

[Jennie's POV]

It's been four weeks and I kinda forgot everything. I meant it. I moved on, at least just a little bit.

I was back then laying down on the red couch, beside my bed, and I found myself comfortable with my phone and laptops, while my books were literally littered all round the room.

Taehyung was taking Jungkook out on a small date. "Jennie, we both will go shopping, we'll be back shortly after dinner," that's what he said in the morning and I was left alone in his apartment full of boredom, locked in a dungeon I never expected to be.

"Hey, sis, let's check this out!" I guessed the stress wouldn't just escape and I hated it so much. I clicked on a website, with a title 'Quiz: Does your crush likes you back?'

"Welp, I hope it ain't a clickbait," I sighed, then properly sat on the couch, putting my laptop on my lap. "Alright let's do this."

I bit my lips. Shoulders and head rested on the wall. Eyes focusing on the screen with raised eyebrows and weird questionable expressions. Well, I haven't fully moved on.

"Am I seriously over her?" That's when I started questioning myself. "Whatever," I enjoyed biting my nails, as I clicked at the little quiz.

"She seems to act a lot different with me," I bit my lips. "Well, I mean she begs that way not to end our friendship. And that fireflies night- Aish, Jennie stop gaydreaming." I slapped my face.

Yup, definitely.
