Is it so much to ask
My voice and thoughts cause your anger
My silence is a great offence
What is it you seek from me?
Tell me so I may stop you erie.
You play the wounded animal.
You act the injured party
I wish nothing more
Than to be the spectator of
This face you show.
You are a wolf that injures lambs
And yet you act as if you are
But a dove!
I ask that you stop
And remove the false white feathers
And to be true to those you fooled
I know its but a hopeless wish
That truth and justice
Will prevail
I know that its only.
A childish dream
For a happily ever
After to exist
I now know that
Never will you admit to your flaws
And lies
That you are in a never ending tale
Where you are an injured flower
Broken by the
Thorns of an ancient rose.
I now see that never will your voice soften
Instead you will louden it so all may hear
You fill me with guilt
I know I mustn't feel
But feel it I did
Regardless
You make me feel responsible
For things I should know
I cant control
And such feelings I wish
It never exists!
So tell me why this request is
Such a core for you
Tell me why my desire for peace is
An insult to this pride you hold so dear
For everyday in my heart and soul
Amidst all your hateful words and lies
Iam left with nothing more than
The madness of this life
I seek solace from the storms
Of emotions and voices in my mind
I ask for shelter from the harsh winds
And the souring heat
I ask for a simple embrace to bid
Away my fears.
Tell me why all I get,
Are these bitter tears!?
