That's Not What I Meant!

(A/N: this is official art btw. There is no straight way to explain Kiri's face. He literally looks like as if he's looking at a cooking waifu.)

Bakugou's POV

After Kaminari and Sero got back, Kirishima and I didn't really talk much that night. But Kiri had this big goofy smile on his face and his cheeks were a rose red. "You two okay? You guys seem a bit flushed." Sero asked as Kaminari put down a branch that he had gotten. "Uhh yeah! We actually were just talking about you two. Like quirk improvement wise." Kirishima replied, trying his best to hide the fact that we had just kissed.

For the rest of the night, the group talked about quirk improvements as well as overall combat training. But the kiss had been replaying in my head, over and over. I didn't realize I was blushing until I heard Kaminari speak. "Bakugou, your face is pretty pink. Do you have a fever?" I rolled my eyes and got up. "Shut the fuck up, Dunce Face." I stretched my arms and yawned. "I'm goin to bed. G'night fuckers."

I crawled into the tent and lay down. Shortly afterwards, I heard someone enter. I looked up. It was Kiri. Not gonna lie, I was kind of nervous about earlier. "Are you up Bakugou?" He asked. His voice was low, as if trying not to wake up anyone. "Yea, I'm up. What is it?" Kirishima crawled next to me and lie down. It was dark so I couldn't tell if he was looking at me directly. "Earlier was.. amazing. Your lips are so soft, you.. you smell like caramel, I.. I never expected that." He softly said.

My heart was beating faster than what was probably humanly possible. I cleared my throat. "You're right. It was amazing." I smiled. I felt his hand reach out to grab mine. He put it on his chest, where I could feel his heartbeat. It was also quite fast. "Could we do it again?" Kirishima asked. I could feel my face heat. "Are.." I cleared my throat. "Are the others awake?" "No. I made sure they went to bed before I did." I gave out a sigh of relief. He inched his face closer to mine.

I licked my lips then pushed them into his. His left hand went to my hair, and his right hand tangled with my left hand. And for a minute, this was how it was. Until I felt something brush against my bottom lip. Was Kiri trying to do tongue. I pulled back. "As much as I want that, who knows where that'll lead." I took my hand out from his. He chuckled nervously. "Heh, you're right."

I went closer to him, to the point where our foreheads were touching. I wrapped my arms around him. "Our camping trip ends tomorrow. Let's get some sleep while we can. Goodnight, Ei." My eyelids fluttered closed. I felt something touch my lips. "Goodnight Katsuki." He put his head on my chest.

Kirishima's POV

It had been a week since I confessed. Ever since that night, Bakugou and I started dating. Most of our dating consisted of homework dates and small, short kissing sessions. It was unfortunate that he had to visit family from far off this weekend. But at least Mina was still here.

I pulled on a red sweater as well as torn jeans. I put on my crocs and texted Mina.

I knocked on her dorm door. She opened it right away. "Kiri! Come in, I just set up the Wii!" She dragged me inside. It was strange, I felt like she wasn't as enthusiastic. Sure, she seemed happy, but she looked like she had something on her mind. I'd ask that later.

But even while playing Mario Kart, she seemed really distracted. I pushed a button, which paused the game. "You okay? You're really distracted, you're usually the one pushing me off of Rainbow Road!" I teased. She sighed. "Usually you're the one having a panic over your crush. But today I kinda need to have a little panic." She admitted. I raised an eyebrow. "Alright. So whose the lucky gal or guy?"

"Umm, it's Sero. I know I know, we rarely ever talk. But oh my god, he's handsome. And he's goofy and charismatic and talkative. But I don't know what to do. Do I just walk up to him and say hi let's be friends?!" Her golden eyes looked ahead in worry. I chuckled. "Don't worry about it. Walk up to him during training and ask to train with him! That'll work. Not to mention you're both quite charismatic, you could find a way to make it work." I advised.

She turned her head over to my direction. "Thanks Kiri. You're the best." She gave me a quick hug. I hugged her back. "But like I mentioned, you're usually the one to have a crush panic. Since you spent a whole week with him, give me the details!" I nervously rubbed my neck.

"He uhh, smells like caramel." She rolled her eyes. "You always say that. Give me something juicier." She replied. I laughed in return. "His hair may look rough and spiky, but I had the chance to touch it. It's soft." She giggled. "I tried to touch it but I almost got killed by him." She ran her fingers through her hair. "Anything else?" I clearly wasn't thinking. "That's not the only soft feature. His skin is soft, and even his lips-" I realized my mistake. She narrowed her eyes.

"His lips are... KIRI DID YOU AND BAKUGOU KISS DURING THE TRIP?! WHO CONFESSED TO WHO?!" I put my hands in front of my face in an embarrassed matter. "That's not what I meant!" She persisted and was shaking me now. "I NEED ALL THE DETAILS. Did you guys make out?!" She had her hands on my cheeks now. "KIRI. Tell me now."

I opened my mouth to speak, but then her door opened. It was Sero. "Hey uh, am I interrupting something?" He asked, with a slight look of upset on his face. "Nah, just Mina persisting me about something." If Mina's face wasn't already pink enough, it just deepened into an even darker pink color. She turned around. "Oh hey Sero! What are you here for?" She nervously asked. He smiled a big toothy smile. "I just wanted to ask if you wanted to sit next to me during dinner? Kaminari isn't here so I'm kinda lonely."

I smirked at Mina. She glared at me then turned back to him. "Sure! Uh when is dinner?" Sero laughed. "It's soon, I'd suggest getting out of pajamas soon. Anyways, I'll see ya around!" He left the room while waving. I looked at Mina and laughed. "I'll leave so you can get ready for your first unofficial date. Bye." I grabbed my sweater and exited the room.

Today was quite the day.
