Okay, confession time.

There was a job at the beach. But I wasn't gonna tell my mom until we got there because she hates doing a job with me.

And I don't understand why because it's not like I mess up every time. I don't know, maybe it's just a mom thing.

But anyway, it took is a day or so to reach Panama City Beach. Any when we got there, I was so freaking happy because I was tired of being in the car.

"So mom," I told after we got settled into the hotel, "I got something to tell you."

"I know. There's a job here, isn't there?"

That stopped me dead in my tracks.

"How do you know?"

"Seriously? You think that I actually bought the story about just wanting to go to the beach?"

I blush. "Maybe."

"Well then, you're wrong. Now what's the case?"

A/N Hey guys, since I'm like the world's laziest and suckiest writer, I'm not going to input the job. But long story short, it was a shifter and they ganked it. And the story will resume with them back at their house.

I have decided that I'm going to leave my mom and go live with my friend Kaitlin in Soux Falls, North Dakota.

But for st I have to tell my mom.

I find her in the library. "Hey."

She looks up from her book. "Hey."

"Um listen", I start to tell her, "I-

She cuts me off. "You're leaving."

I just sort of hang my head.

She walks over to me. "Hey, it's okay, I knew that you were going to leave sooner or later. But thank you for coming to see me."

My throat is tight so I just hug her.

"I love you," she tells me. "Call often."

I step back and molds my head. "I will. I love you too."

I give her one last hug and then I'm gone.
