When I woke up in the morning, Moonbyul wasn't there. I started to drift off to sleep, and was halfway into a nice dream about chocolate, at least until the door slammed open.
"Oh, ma lawd Hwasa what in the world were you thinking!!" The girl who came in yelled, and I laughed at the familiarity.
"It's nice to see you too, Jisoo." I laughed out with a grin. She came over and hugged me, and then picked me up.
"Boi, you're lighter than a feather, does all of your fat just go to your thighs?" Jisoo exclaimed, and I laughed yet again as she carried me into the living room/kitchen.
Moonbyul and Jennie were cooking, while Sana, Jeongyeon, Wheein, Solar, Joy, and Yeri sat in the living room. Me and Jisoo went to join them, Jisoo sat next to Wheein and Jeongyeon, while I plopped down onto Sana's lap.
I immediately got tackled by hugs, and I sighed at the nostalgia. Sure, Wheein, Solar and Sanas hair was changed to blond, Jeongyeons was slightly longer and was pink, Joys was a richer shade of black, Yeri's turned to brown ombre,Jisoo's was purple, Jennie's had grey tips, and Moonbyuls was silver, but they still had the same personalities they always did.
Wheein was still an absolute puppy.
Solar was still a whole-ass mom, but still had a thing for watching cartoons while shouting.
Jeongyeon still had an obsession with food, that could only be topped by he obsession with Sana.
Sana was still a clingy little Sanake, who was constantly giving Jeongyeon (and others) kisses.
Jisoo still liked to shout about Pikachu and chicken, so that you would watch Pokémon and eat chicken with her.
Jennie still got roped into watching Pokémon and eating chicken, instead of taking pictures or cooking as she would originally do.
Joy still babied Yeri, even though she was basically a child herself.
Yeri was still shy, but became a hyper five-year-old if you gave her sugar.
Moonbyul was still a caring, amazing person to me, even when she knew I forgot about her.
No matter how much they had changed, with Solar and Wheein having twins, Lily and Rose, Joy no longer being short AF, and Jennie having a tendency to grab random things and turning them around in her hands, they were still my best friends.
Except for Moonbyul. Moonbyul wasn't just my best friend, she was now a full-time crush. My feelings for her returned along with my memories, but I don't think she feels the same as I do.
------Time Skip Bishes-----
After everyone left, Moonbyul and I were left lying on the very, very, very small couch. Like, really small.
Suddenly Moonbyul picked me up and I shrieked.
"Really Byul!?!"
She just giggled and took me to her bed, setting me down and laying next to me. "I thought this might be a little more comfortable," she said cheekily, and I laughed.
"You're just how I remember you," I said with a small smile, pulling her closer to me.
"You are too," Moonbyul said happily, but she sighed.
"I just wish we could have spent all of our time together." She said sadly.
I changed our position so that my legs were wrapped around hers and my head was buried in the crook of her neck. I could feel her heartbeat from here, it was a lot quicker than a normal one should be.
"Your hearts beating very quickly," I said with a sly grin on my face, and she shivered.
"I can't help that you're like this," Moonbyul said, " You are beautiful, smart, sexy, cute, amazing altogether. I just... I don't know,"
I was blushing hard into her neck.
"I-I really like you Moonbyul- I love you. Even though we don't know each other- I mean, we do but I've missed out on two years of your life and I know that I have changed a lot and I don't think you feel the same but-" I was ranting and I knew it but I felt like if I stopped talking Moonbyul would say she didn't like me.
"Hwasa, I don't-" Moonbyul started to speak, but I just got up.
"I'm sleeping on the couch tonight, don't bother me," I said coldly.
I could already anticipate what she was going to say, and I didn't want to hear it.
Making myself as comfortable as I could on the couch, I slowly drifted off to sleep.
---Small Time Skip lol---
I woke up to Moonbyul shaking my shoulder.
"Hyejin. Hyejin, wake up!"
"I thought I told you not to bother me.". I turned so I was facing her, and instead of seeing the soft face she usually has, it seemed harder. Angrier.
"Look. Hyejin, I don't like you that way. You aren't my type." She rolled her eyes when she said it, like the thought of her liking me was too much to handle.
I bit my lip and looked into her eyes. They were cold, almost dead seeming, without the sparkle that was usually there. "What do you mean?" I asked with a shaky voice. It almost didn't sound like my own.
"I don't like girls like you. I need someone who isn't so clingy, and poor. I don't need someone like you."
I was full on sobbing right now.
"Hwasa? Hwasa what's wrong?"
I woke up with a start, but immediately buried my face into the crook of Moonbyuls neck.
"You- you rejected me and told me I- I was too clingy and fat and poor and I-"
Moonbyul cut me off and climbed onto the couch so I was sitting on her lap.
"Hwasa I would never, never reject you. I love how clingy you are, it's adorable. You are beautiful, anyone who says differently is just jealous. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, I love you either way" Moonbyul said and placed a kiss on my head.
"You- you love me?" I asked in a small voice.
"Of course, who wouldn't love you?" She said with a grin.
I went up to kiss her, but she shook her head.
"We have to sleep," She grinned, picking me up and taking me to the bedroom.
We lied down and Byul instantly fell asleep. I couldn't believe it. I was back with my friends and the girl I loved, my flower.
And as long as I had my flower back, my hands were never shaking.
