*Present Day*

JIMIN POV

"Jimin wake up." My older brother says while shaking my shoulder. I groan and smack his hand away. Honestly, had I not been mostly asleep, I would have known better than to do that. The next thing I feel is a sharp smack to the side of my head and my brother screaming in my ear.

"YAH! KIM JIMIN! YOU GET YOUR BIG BUTT UP RIGHT THIS MINUTE! WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" Seokjin yells.

I was on my feet in seconds for two reasons. One, I damn well know not to piss off my brother and two, he said 'we don't have time for this'. That usually means something bad is about to happen.

"OW! What is it? What's wrong?" I ask while rubbing the side of my head where he smacked me.

"Get dressed quickly, then go stand guard wth Hoseok. I know today is the day we need to leave here and Hobi senses that something is coming. Taehyung and I will finish packing and then we need to get out of here." He places a kiss on the the side of my head where he smacked me and walks over to wake up our younger brother Taehyung.

Seokjin, or Jin, is the eldest of the four of us, then there is Hoseok, or Hobi, who actually isn't our brother but he might as well be. He was a part of our family before I was even born and I love him just as much as I love my actual brothers. None of us know who Hobi's birth parents are and if our parents knew, they never told us. Next in age is me and then finally, Taehyung, or Tae, is the youngest. We've been on our own since Jin was 6, Hobi was 5, I was 4, and little Tae was only 2. Our parents died protecting us while we ran for our lives. I don't remember much about that day but I know Jin still has nightmares about it. From that day on Jin took over as the parent, which for a 6 year old is ASTONISHING. If it hadn't been for him, Hoseok, and our powers, we would have died long ago.

"TaeTae, you need to get up now sweetheart." Jin sweetly calls as he shakes Taehyung awake.

"NO! NOT THE BUNNIES!" Taehyung screams as he bolts straight up, tears pouring from his soft gray eyes. Jin quickly pulls him into his arms and runs his fingers through Taes silver hair. A pink glow surrounds Jin as he uses his touch ability to calm Tae down.

Taehyung has very vivid dreams and they vary from really interesting to really weird. He also has quite the obsession with rabbits. Once, when we were younger, Hobi and I brought back rabbits for dinner after a hunt and poor Tae had a meltdown. He cried all night and didn't talk to either of us for a week. It honestly broke both our hearts. None of us ate that night and the next morning we learned that Jin, at the tearful request of Taehyung, had buried the rabbits.

I quickly finish getting dressed as I hear Jin reassuring Taehyung that it was just a dream and he needs to get up. I grab my sword and step out of our shack that is situated in the middle of a large meadow. I walk over to where Hobi is looking off to the Eastern tree line. His tall, lean body is rigid and very much in a defensive position. His short, wavy, caramel colored hair is getting tossed around by the wind. He senses me behind him and without turning around he tells me to keep my eyes on the Western tree line.

"Can you tell which direction they are coming from?" I ask, doing what he says without hesitation and taking up my own defensive position. Hobi doesn't have powers like my brothers and I but he was gifted with some badass fighting skills and killer instincts that have saved our lives dozens of times. He once said he could feel the enemies eyes on us and that tells him all he needs to know about where they are positioned.

Hobi turns to look at me. His caramel eyes, the same color as his hair, have that fiery glint in them that is always present when he is about to kick some ass. His mouth, that usually has a permanent and genuine smile on it, is now grimacing in disgust and anger.
