*Sam's P.O.V*
"Hey girlie!" Mackenna squealed. She paused, realized that she was the royal adviser, and schooled her features a bit.
"Hey, um, did you do the thing?" I mumbled. She looked at me with a smirk and nodded. She stepped in and a few seconds later so did Casidy.
They both were in sweatpants and sweaters. Mackenna of course being the nerd she was had a Star Wars sweater. I had a Pierce The Veil sweater and a cup of tea.
"Hey Sam," Casidy said. She looked a bit shy in her Harry Potter sweater.
"Hey Cas," I replied. My face was warm, but I knew it would soon pass once we got comfy.
We did in fact get comfy, and pretty quick too. We set up blankets and pillows on the floor, got some movies and snacks, and began the night.
"Hey Mackenna, I loved your seafoam gown tonight," I complimented.
"Thanks," She said.
Casidy held up Star Wars and asked, "Wanna have a marathon?"
"Hell yeah!" I whisper yelled.
So we watched like 4 Star Wars movies before we decided we should probably try to sleep so we can actually do our jobs tomorrow.
"Hey do you guys wanna play truth or dare till we fall asleep?" Casidy asked. Me and Mackenna look at each other, then Cas, and nod.
We play a few rounds until it comes to me.
"Sam truth or dare?" Mackenna challenged.
"Truth," I reply, not in the mood to more dares as I was really tired.
"Who is your crush?" She asked.
Shit. She knew my crush, was she actually serious? Should I say? Ugh.
"It's um," I mumbled.
"You don't have to answe-" Casidy started softly.
"Casidy! I like Cas!" I blurted.
"I...i like you too," Cas mumbled. We looked at each other for a bit, not talking.
"Let's go to sleep. Sam, you have to meet your betrothed's family tomorrow." Mackenna ordered.
So we did. We all claimed our spots on the blanket bed and fell asleep.
