Mina's been my best friend for the longest time. She's always been there for all of my ups and my downs. The times where I wished the world would cave in on me and the times where I wished that time would stay like this so I could enjoy it a little more. She knows everything about me. She knows what it takes to make me smile when I can't smile by myself. 

But here I am. Jungkook. Realizing, I know nothing about her. Nor do I know anything about my feelings for her. I've started liking her for a while now. But if I tell her that, she'll think i'm weird and break off the friendship we have. 

"Jimin hyung?" I called Jimin, Mina's ex-boyfriend and my close friend. 

"Jungkookie? What's up?" He asked. 

"Nothing much, I was getting something for Mina. It's her birthday today-" I said. Jimin was not a bitter ex-boyfriend who snapped every time someone mentioned his ex. He and Mina had just broke up since they knew their relationship might not have worked out like they wanted it to. But they were still good friends.

"ok and..." Jimin asked. 

"I don't know what to get her." 

"OH come ON, JUNGKOOK! I thought you were her best friend!" Jimin complained. 

"I am, I am. It's just me and her have never you know talked about her. I realize how selfish I am.." I said. 

"Very." Jimin said. 

"Shut up hyung! Anyways- what is something she likes?" I asked him.

"Well...she likes flowers." Jimin said. 

"And..." I asked. 

"If you wanted to know so bad- why are you selfish whenever you talk to her?" Jimin scolded. 

"HYUNNGG!" I whined. 

"Fine, fine. She LOVES scented candles. She likes ice cream. She likes taking photos and loves video games. She's into ballet. She adores penguins..did that help?" Jimin asked.

"A lot, thanks hyung." I said, ready to hang up when I heard Jimin yell. 

"WAIT WAIT WAIT!!" He called out. 

"What's up?" I asked, now super happy. 

"You like her don't you?" He asked. 

"Wouldn't you want to know?" I scoffed. 

"Knew it!" He said and hung up. I laughed to myself and went to go shopping for something that Jimin mentioned Mina liked.

I came across a cute pink penguin with a heart on the front. It was perfect. I looked for something else to accompany the penguin. 

I finished my shopping rather quickly only because I wanted to go to Mina immediately. I don't know when this started all of a sudden. Me liking her. But now, regardless of what I told myself, I would just not be able to get rid of my feelings without telling her. 

I sped through the checkout line with my items when the cashier stopped me. 

"Slow down sir, you'll fall." She said.
