Yeah, I do have a Just Australian Things book but these are things I probably haven't put in there or maybe you just haven't read it idk but for you none Aussie's, here's some helpful or maybe useless things to know

- Koalas are NOT drop bears, nor are they 'Koala bears'. Hell, they aren't even related to bears in general! I feel like I really have to adress this, because so many people have called them Koala bears. They are also becoming endangered, poor things. Koala's are actually related to Wombats (short fat furry things but they're cute as fuck though) and Kangaroos (which aren't as aggressive as you think by the way. They don't just fuckin randomly come up and have a boxing match with you, jeez. I've seen them at my fucking Uni before when I was going there earlier this year, they're harmless!)

- thongs are flip flops, and g-strings are thongs, if you get what I mean. I know, it is a tad confusing, but oh well

- no one in Australia says 'g'day' all the time. I don't, my dad doesn't, and none of his friends do. We do say it though, just not all the time

- for the last fuckin time, we don't call them shrimp! We call them prawns and we most certainly do NOT put them on the barbeque or 'barbie' as we call it. That's just...no, that's utterly preposterous, that's what that is

- Australia isn't that fuckin dangerous, okay? We are a beautiful country that has awesome beaches and also theme parks such as Movie World or Sea World (I'm not gonna even fucking mention Dream World after that whole shit storm that went down there...) yeah we have a fair bit of deadly wildlife, but we don't see them all the fucking time and they aren't fucking everywhere roaming the fucking streets. Honestly, I'd be more scared of our own people rather than the wildlife...Australians can get pretty crazy when they've drank enough alcoholic beverages. I speak from experience, I have seen shit go down, shit that my dad was this 👌 close to being a part of

- Actually, scratch that last statement. I'm more scared of what our fucking Prime Minister is doing, honestly. We truly do vote for the shittiest ones. Lemme just say this; when Donald motherfucking Trump is saying he's proud of our Prime Minister/President, you know something is deeply wrong and we need to fear for our fucking lives o.O
