I hear your cries
I listen to your rants
Whenever you feel down
I try to make you smile
To have you as a friend is a godsent
Though you don't really do the same for me
Whenever I say I am feeling down or depressed
You say you will always be there for me
But will you?
You say the same thing over and over
Saying you'll always be there for me
But saying that doesn't mean much
You try to make me laugh but laughing won't help anything
What I really need is a shoulder to cry on
Not put a fake smile on your face and say everything will be alright
So are you truly there for me?
