"Bri! Can you drop it already? I so don't want to talk about vampires right now." I sent Brian an annoyed look before I turned back to the road. Brian rolled his eyes at me. "But seriously, Belle. How can you just pretend that you didn't have a bomb dropped on you earlier?"
"I can pretend... because I don't know! Bri, I seriously do NOT want to even think about Damon, or vampires, or how it's possible for me to be attracted to another supernatural being, and whatever that says about me as a person." I sighed, and parked the car in front of the club. Turning to face Brian, I said, "You're the one that wanted to go dancing tonight. If we're doing this, we're doing this right."
Brian pulled a shit eating grin. "I guess you're right. Now let's go get drunk!" I laughed, letting him grab my hand and pull me into the club. He didn't stop pulling me until he had shoved himself in between two groups of people at the bar. "Four tequila shots please." I heard him tell the bartender. "Brian! No!" I said, gripping his arm. The last time I had tequila I ended up puking in a dumpster and stumbling into a strangers house.
"Hey, you said you wanted to do this right, we're gonna get drunk, and you're going to forget all about your boy problems." He ignored my wide eyes, grabbing the shots and pushing a bill over to the bartender. I groaned. He was right. I steeled myself, and picked up the shot glass.
A few hours and several shots later, I found myself in the middle of the dance floor, rocking to the music with Brian behind me and a pretty girl in front of me. "Bella!" Brian yelled in my ear. I leaned my head back onto his shoulder, but didn't take my eyes off the brunette in front of me.
"What?" I giggled.
"Shotssssss?" A loud laugh peeled out of my throat. When I nodded, Brian stumbled past the people who were grinding around us back towards the bar. The beautiful brunette dancing in front of me turned, pressing her chest to mine and reached her arms around my waist. The room was spinning as I giggled, letting the music wash over me as her lips came down onto my neck. I only broke my eyes away from the ceiling when Brian pushed back through the crowd, and tripped right into me and my new friend.
"Yeah, baby!" Brian yelled, seeing the position we were in. I laughed and yanked the shot of tequila out of his hand. We clinked our tiny glasses together and downed them, the previous shots holding the burn back. I turned back to the girl, ignoring Brian's whistle of appreciation as I pulled her back into me.
After dancing for a few more songs, I was officially tired, and I let Brian yank me towards the bar when he returned for more shots.
"Hallelujah!" I screamed when I saw an open bar stool and threw myself into it, giggling when it spun around. Brian laughed, and ordered us another round, before leaning into me.
"Why didn't you ever tell me you were into girls?"
"Why w-would I?" I snatched my drink off the bar, sipping happily on the little straw.
"Because, Bella, we could have had so much fun with that!" He whined. I smirked, meeting his eyes over my glass.
"Too bad, so sad, you have a girlfriend now." I stuck my tongue out at him and pushed him away, never letting the straw fall away from my mouth. He laughed, and we finished our drinks at the bar. Just as another set was set down in front of us, Brian pulled his phone out of his pocket.
"It's her, Belle, let's step outside for a minute." He said, grabbing my hand and pulling me toward the door. I laughed, teasing him as I stumbled off the chair, but ultimately let him drag me out. We stepped out into the night, a cool breeze washing over my face as I sucked in a deep breath. Brian nodded at me and stepped off to the left a bit, already deep in conversation with his girlfriend.
I forced my feet to move me to lean against the right side of the door. Once I was steady against the wall, I looked up and saw my gorgeous brunette from the dance floor.
"Hey!" I squealed, throwing my arms around her neck. "You look so familiar..." I wondered where I had seen her before. "And so pretty...""Well aren't you just the flatterer." She said with a smirk, pushing me into the wall. I smiled up at her, and closed my eyes as she leaned into my neck.
"Bella!" I heard someone call, but was distracted when the girl turned us, so she was facing the street. "Whoa." I muttered, feeling the world start spinning faster around me with the quick movement.
"I warned you, Damon." She growled out.
"Damon? No, no Damon tonight" I whined, leaning my face into her neck.
"Katherine, let her go." Damon's voice said from behind me.
"Damon," I said, suddenly feeling the world start spinning wildly. I pulled a hand up to my head, trying to stop the feeling that was rising up my throat, when suddenly, I was pushed forward.
"NO!" was the last thing I heard.
Blinding. Pain.
Pain shot through my body, and then it all went black.
