Blood.
There was blood everywhere. Bodies covered the grass. I was standing watching my family be killed one by one. We were being attacked by creatures with glowing red eyes. We were strong but they were stronger. We were killing each other. One of ours for one of theirs. I was fighting with everything I had.
It was now a one on one battle between me and one of these creatures. We ran at one another. It bit my arm and injected me with a sort of venom. Once I got it off me I was in excruciating pain but ignored it just long enough to snap the things neck. It dropped to the ground and I followed. My vision went fuzzy and my body went numb. I layed in the grass for what seemed like hours. The pain slowly faded and I soon felt nothing. Before everything went black a person walked up to me. Their eyes were red like those creatures but they didn't seem like they wanted to harm me.
"Miss? You're going to be alright. I promise. What is your name?"
"Y/n."
With that darkness consumed my vision.
"Miss?"
"Miss?"
"Miss, the plane has landed."
I slowly open my eyes and see a flight attendant standing next to me with a smile.
"I'm sorry."
I stand up and give her a small bow.
"Thank you for waking me. I'll be going now."
I got off the plane and got my luggage. I just arrived in Seoul, South Korea. I haven't been here, been home, in a long time. I descend the escalator and look around before I see a sign with my name on it. I look at the person holding the sign along with a stuffed alpaca and smile. I hadn't seen him since I left. He has chestnut hair that comes to the top of his light brown eyes. We made eye contact and he smiles back at me and waves me over.
When I get over to him I let go of my luggage and wrap my arms around his waist. He hugs me back and let's out a sigh.
"I've missed you. It's been so long."
"I've missed you too Jin."
"Is that any way to say hello to your brother after not seeing him in forever?"
I smile and let go of him grabbing ahold of my luggage again.
"First off you aren't really my brother and second off it hasn't been that long. Has it?"
He smiles and shakes his head.
"I guess not. But I am your brother. Even if we aren't related by blood."
I nod.
"I know. So how have you been?"
We start walking out of the airport.
"I've been good. I took a week off of my job at the hospital so I could spend some time with you. I'm also in a relationship now. We got together a little while after you left. Also here."
He hands me the alpaca and I look at him surprised.
"Thanks and wow! That long? I'm happy for you."
He smiles.
"We live at my house with five other guys. We met them throughout the years. We've all been there for each other when no one else was. There are two other couples in the house and one guy that's a loner. He says love takes too much energy."
He laughs and I smile at him. When we get to the car I put my stuff in the trunk and we got in. Jin told me it would take about an hour to get to the house. He told me it was in the forest. He said that I was going to love it.
