EACH GUEST filed into the living room, of the luxurious mansion. They all talked, and became friends. But no one noticed the butler, Giles, walking down the stairs. Until finally, Mary said, "Uh - guys? Creepy guy coming down the stairs!" Mary finally said, anxious for attention.
Everyone then looked at the staircase, wondering what Mary had meant. Giles was almost done walking down the elegant stairs. "Hello, houseguests!" Giles said, to everyone. "I am Giles - your butler, for your time at the mansion. I will make this a comfortable time for you, I promise." Giles said, before taking a breath of air.
"Please, go to your rooms." All the guests went upstairs, one after another. Everyone checked out their rooms, not suspecting a thing. But, Giles knew what was coming. A half an hour later, there was a sudden noise coming from the kitchen.
"Bang! Slash!" And that sound, woke up all the guests. They all ran to the kitchen, stopping at the door. A few feet away from the door, was Adam's lifeless, cold body. A cleaver, was cut straight in the middle of Adam's head, blood streaming down his head, and his body. Cuts and bruises
covered his body.
A deep and dark voice came from the corner of the room. "My dear guests, it seems Adam had a little.. fun in the kitchen." Giles said, a devious smile on his face. "...It's hard to believe, but this was no accident." Giles said, stopping for a few gasps or.. suspicious activity.
Giles continued, "This was very much, murder."The word 'murder' is a dark, and serious word. The mention of the word darkened the room itself.
"And - the killer is among you. You will have three areas to choose from, which will help you state your case to the murderer." Giles said, a calm tone in his voice. "You may investigate one of the three areas."
"The last known whereabouts, which in this case is Adam's room."
"The morgue, where you will get a deeper investigation, on the body."
"And lastly, the crime scene. Where Adam rested his life. Which in this case, the kitchen." Giles said, making sure they noted his words.
"Now- who wants to go to the morgue?" Giles asked. Only three hands shot up - Elizabeth, Michael, and Mary. "Very well then, follow Grace, the maid." Them three left the kitchen.
"Now, who'd like to go to the last known whereabouts?" Giles asked. Four hands. Janelle, Christina, Melissa and Steve. "Okay, follow Katrina, the maid."
"Okay, and the crime scene?" Five hands. Jason, Eddie, Louis, Cassie, and Lexi. "Very well. Follow me." And they walked off, leaving dead Adam on the floor.
THE MORGUE
Elizabeth, Michael and Mary entered the morgue. Adam's body layed down on a silver table. The scratches were visible, as well as all the other things. There were some dry blood stains leftover on his shirt. His face looked stern, angry almost.
"Wow... Adam looks like a squashed hamburger that I dropped at BK. I'd be delighted to tell you the story, but you know.. it's not the right place or time.." Elizabeth said, embarrassing herself.
Michael took a closer look at his head, where the cleaver used to be. "Hm, there's no hole where the cleaver was..." Michael said. The others heard him, and took a look for themselves.
Sure enough, there was no hole. "That's weird," Mary said. "You know, I can tell you guys about the time that there was a hole in a burger I made.." Elizabeth said. "Please, Elizabeth. We don't have time for your dumb stories, and I prefer McDonalds anyways.." Michael said.
"Well, at least Burger King is cleaner.." Elizabeth said. "Guys, if there's no mark from the cleaver, that means that the cleaver was fake..." Mary said, trying to change the subject. "Right, so the cleaver obviously wasn't the murder weapon." Michael said. They all agreed and left the room.
