"Hey Lena?" it was refreshing to hear his voice, I had been worried.
"Yeah?" Somehow I knew what he was going to say.
"Don't stop now. We were just getting somewhere."
"Why is this so important to you, anyway?" I snap back. "Sorry." I mutter sheepishly.
Chase signs. "It's fine, I guess it is a bit strange. My mum used to say that when your scared of something, if you recount your fears you will realise that you're not actually as scared of the thing. She used to say it 100 times a day. I don't know if it really applies to this situation, and it sounds really dumb, but I thought it might help."
"Your mum sounds really smart."
This year has gone so fast, i can't believe it's so close to christmas!
