(Third Person POV)
His facial features soften as he wipes (Y/N)'s tears, Riko smiles sadly.
"Oh, (Y/N).. don't cry." He looked down at the (h/c) haired female. "It hurts me to see you cry.. You don't have to cry, don't be scared."
(Y/N) trembled under his touch, she was truly afraid of him, and to Riko, it hurt him to see her like this. But it also gave him a thrill, to see her cowering in fear.
Sighing, Riko got off the (e/c) eyed teen. "I.. I'm sorry, (Y/N). I didnt mean to scare you or anything." He looked down apolitically.
After a few minutes of silence (Y/N) sighed. "Riko, I don't know what it is about you, but I just can't seem to hate you." Hearing those words, Riko smiled. It comforted him. He softly laughed and stood up.
"Ahh, (Y/n) I love you soooo much haha," He gently placed a hand on your cheek, his lips quivering. Earning for yours.
"I love you too, best friend." You beamed, and playfully ruffled his hair.
Riko mentally cringed. He hated being called that, "Why can't I be called boyfriend instead?" He whined.
"You are my boy, friend." You giggled. He huffed and looked down, pouting.
"Hmpf." He stared at you for a bit, examining your facial features. "Hehe.. cutie pie.." He smiled.
I glanced away. Somehow, that made Riko a little angry. "Hey, (Y/n) lets go on a date!" He exclaimed. "To the park!"
Before you could protest, he took your hand and ran outside, dragging you along.

"Err.. Why are we here?" You asked, looking around the park. The place looked familiar, a wave of nostalgia hitting you.
"Why, (Y/n), this is where we first met!" The blonde haired male beamed. "Don't you remember this place? We had a lot of good memories here."
You quickly 'mhmed' and walked around the park, examining each feature. There was a cute red swing set and a rainbow merry-go-round. You paused for a moment.
"Ahh! (Y/n)! Do you remember this? Look!" Riko called out. You glazed towards his direction, walking towards him.
"What is it?" You asked. In response, Riko pointed to a small engraving on a tree.
"Remember when we promised to marry each other when we were older?" He 'jokingly' asked. You shook your head no.
"Ouch.. that hurts.." He whispered to himself.
"That's okay though. I'll make sure you fall in love with me."

After a while, it was getting dark. Riko walked you home. You both said your goodbyes to each other.

(Rikos Pov)
I sat on my soft blue bed, looking at the polaroid photo of (Y/n) and I. "She was so cute before, but she's even cuter now. With her perfect (h/c) hair, and shiny (e/c) eyes. She's my everything." I paused for a moment, laying down.
I sighed. "I never really wanted it to be like this.. I fell too hard, and too fast. I just couldn't help it. But it hurts to love like this."
Heyy, im so sorry that I havent been updating this story for like... months haha. School has been stressful and everything else has been stressful and ahh im so stressed. Im sorry for the short chapter but I'll try to update the story more often. Ahh I love you guys so much.
