25 years.
25 years without a father, 25 years living in solitude.
25 years of trying to get over the pain and move on
When will it end
Boba sighs, and picks up yet another bottle of whiskey, he chugs it like it is nothing.
It seems how much he drinks to forget, the memories, still come back to him.
One after another, he drinks more and more each day.
It's getting worse
Jango thinks to himself, his ghostly body floating over the scene, he knew that Boba has been mentally unstable since that day.
He could almost picture the scene once again, the screams, the darkness he fell into after the purple saber swung towards his neck, unable to dodge. He was too late, gone from his son's life far too early, Boba was merely a little boy. About 8-9 at the time. Jango knew that Boba was never the same after such a traumatic event such as that day.
Boba had followed in his father's footsteps, despite the risk. He wore the mandalorian armor, he pursued the bounty hunter lifestyle.
Boba didn't care that he would eventually be killed.
He was drunk for most of his missions anyway, still having that perfect shot.
How well would he be able to sharp-shoot if he was sober, Jango questioned himself. Jango could foresee this such destructive path his own boy has taken, he knew very well that Boba desired so much to end his own life.
He knew that he could not continue to foil all of Boba's suicide attempts as soon would start to be internal, no guns, no jumping off a high bridge.
He is knew damn well that he could not help with boba's drinking problem, he knew that consuming that much alcohol daily would eventually kill him. Jango wished he could talk some sense into him, after all it was him after all that was the one that kept Boba alive.
