Alex
"Take my car, I haven't put gas in your car yet," Drew said.

"Ok," I said grabbing his keys off the counter.

"Be safe babe," he said, kissing me.

"I will, I love you," I said.

"Love you more," he responded.

"Love you most," We said in unison as I walked out the door.

I got into the car.

"Why didn't you pick me Alex?" Jack said from the back seat.

"Jesus Christ, Jack, why are you here?" I asked.

"Why didn't you choose me?" He asked.

"Because I've known Drew longer and he is the one I truly love, Jack," I said.

"Can I show you something?" He asked.

"If you leave me alone," I said.

"Fine," He said. "Drive down to 36th."

"Ok," I said.

In about 5 minutes we were there.

"Pull into that driveway right there."

"Where are we? There's not much around here."

"You'll see." He got out and I followed him.

"This is the house I bought for us."

"You do realize that we aren't together right," I asked.

"That's why it's my wedding present for you and Drew." He said.

"You're kidding right?" I asked.

"No, I know how much you don't want to live in the house that your dad was in so you and Drew can live here," he said.

"Jack you didn't have to do this," I said.

"I realize that you are happy with Drew and I would never want to get in the way of your happiness," he said.

"Thank you Jack," I said, hugging him.

"I love you Alex," he said.

"You know I can't say it back Jack," I said.

"I know, I just need you to hear it, that's all," he said.

1 year later

I felt Alex's had behind the door so I grabbed it.

It was the first look. We were getting married in less than 30 minutes.

I turned around to see my bride in her wedding dress.

"You look amazing," I said.

"Let's go get married," she said.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," she said.

************
"Now by the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride," the pastor said.

"It's about time!" Drew said, dipping me to kiss me.

Our friends and family cheered.

Our reception was exciting and fully filled.

At the end of the night, all of our family and friends were escorted out so Drew and I could share our last dance together by ourselves. The DJ started the song and left and the photographer stayed only for a little bit to take some pictures but then let us finish the song by ourselves.

"I'm happy," I said.

"I'm beyond happy, because I have you," he said.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," he said. His hand went to my jaw and he leaned in to kiss me. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you as my wife." Was what he said before our lips touched.

"I'm gonna rip this off you when we get back to the hotel," I whispered.

"Are you now? Who said, I won't beat you to it baby," he whispered biting my neck gently.

"Mhmmmm," he said, kissing me again.

"Are you drunk?" I asked.

"Not really, just a little buzzed," he said.

"Neither am I, lets go to that bar downtown and have a drink before we go to the hotel," I said.

"Deal," he said.

We got into the car and we're driven downtown to a bar where we were greeted happily and were bought multiple drinks.

We went back to our hotel room still buzzed.

"God, you're gorgeous," he said, pushing against the wall.

He carefully undid my dress to make sure he didn't rip it.

He kissed me softly.

************
We grabbed our bags and headed to the airport.

"Caribbean here we come, with the beautiful wife," he said.

We spent the time together for the next two weeks and I realized that I really have always loved Andrew Cooper and I was so happy that I got to spend the rest of my life with him.

This was the life I wanted and this is the life I got.
