Alex's POV
Dustin was so nice! I heard him yell at mike after he called me fat. He was kinda cute too. Will invited me to come with him to watch him play D & D at mikes again and I only agreed because he looked so happy.
When we arrived all the boys rolled their eyes to see me except Dustin. Of course El tried to slam the door before I could get in but failed. Mike made me sit on the floor because he said I would break his couch. That hurt a little. Will gave me a sympathetic look and continued with his game. Dustin kept staring at me and I was kinda confused. Maybe he likes me back? No not possible no one likes a beached whale. After the game Jonathan my older brother came to pick will and I up. Sadly Mike was staying over so I will probably just be hiding in my room. When we got home I went straight to my room and started drawing. I was listening to uptown girl which was my favorite song. After a while I decided to snoop on the boys
"Dude why are you so nice to her, just because she's your twin doesn't mean to have to be nice all the time," I heard mike say
" I don't know but she does kind of look like a beached whale," I heard my own twin brother say.
I ran to my room and cried myself to sleep holding my sad teddy. The teddy bear I only used when I was sad. I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. I don't like either so I decided to just go to the living room to watch tv. Of course Mike and Will had already beat me to it and was watching some dumb sport. I went to my room to get ready for the day. After I got ready I went downstairs to eat since I haven't eaten. I made two eggos with some whipped cream on top after I took one bite will walked.
"Alex are you sure you wanna eat that?" Will asked me
After that I just threw away the rest. I called Dustin and asked if he wanted to hang out and of course he said yes. As I was waiting for dustin to arrive I put on some jeans and a band t-shirt. Will peeped in and just walked away. I was confused but didn't question. I heard a knock on the door.
"I'LL GET IT" I shouted earning a shut up from Will. I just rolled my eyes.
"Heyyy Dustin," I said "wanna come to my room?" "Sure" he replied.
We walked to my room and I decided I wouldn't tell him about Will's strange behavior unless it got worse. After awhile of hanging out with him, he begged me to come watch him play d&d because he was gonna win. I finally gave in.
As we arrived at the wheeler house Will was already there, Him and Mike just rolled their eyes. Apparently I only have 1 friend. I sat on the floor watching Dustin play and just as he was about to win....Will won. I smiled and went to high five him but he just ignored me like I wasn't there.
As we left Will and I started to walk home. I shivered because it was becoming fall and I forgot my jacket.
"I would offer my jacket but you're too fat." Will mumbled and thought I didn't hear him. After that I walked ahead quickly and cried. To no surprise Will caught up but didn't care that I was crying.
"I'm going to Dustin's tell mom please," I said trying not to cry more "whatever" will replied.
I arrived at Dustin's and knocked on the door. Dustin opened the door with a smile but his smiled faded when he saw my tear stained face.
"What happened," he said "a lot I said"
After we went to his room I told him everything. I almost cried again but I didn't because I didn't want dustin thinking I was crybaby. I laid my head on his lap and felt my eyes get heavier and heavier and just fell asleep.
