"So he just left you???" Damon said
"Yes, he just left," I yelled
"Well, I guess I was right...You really don't have any charm." He said
"Oh look who's talking. When was the last time you got the girl?'' I asked. Yes I know that might have hurt him but he literally never gets the girl...EVER. He never got Kathrine. Even her name makes the hairs on the back on my neck stand up.
"Wow, glad you keep track." He said sounding hurt
"You know it," I say and then wink at him. --------------------
I'm in my room when I hear a couple of people talking. Why can't I have one minute of silence...Just one that's all I'm asking for. I don't want to go downstairs and so I listen in to there conversation
"So is what I'm hearing true," Damon says. Who is he with?
"It depends on your hearing." I hear a familiar voice...It Elijah.
Now I'm definitely not going down there. I step closer to the door to hear better and then the floor squeaks. Sh*t I say to myself if they find out I was listening this will be extremely awkward. I speed over to the window and open it.
"Breathe and jump," I say then jump out of the window. I turn around and see Stefan
"Umm ok." He says in shock
"Shh don't tell anyone you saw me. Got it?" I say
"Okay, but you have to tell me why you jumped out of the window," Stefan said ------------------------------------- I head to the woods it is like my safe place. I lay down on the dewy grass and look up at the darkening sky. I missed it here, I miss being with my family. I get up and head to the cemetery and go to the Salvatore tomb where my mom is. I open the rusted door and head inside. I see my mom's casket, and I start to tear up.
"You miss her, don't you?" I hear Stefan's voice
"Of course I do," I say then turn to Stefan, and cry in his shoulder.
-FLASHBACK-
"Mother hangs in there." I said patting my mother's forehead with a damp cloth "Stefan went to get your medicine...You'll be alright soon."
"Before I go, I love you with all my heart you and your brothers." She says
"What about father?" I say. She sighs and starts coughing up blood "Oh mother hang in there in the morning you'll be right back to your normal self." I say continuing to pat her head with my cloth.
"I must go. everyone goes at some point my love." She say starting to close your eyes
"No mother don't go...dodon't leave me...wait for Stefan." I beg. There was no answer -FLASHBACK OVER-
"Why did she leave us." I cry
"It was her time like it will be our time." He says -------------------------- after a while, I decide to do to the boarding house. I walk in the door and see Elena, Rick, Damon, Stefan, and...Elijah.
"Aw having a party without me," I whined
"You seemed like you needed time to...Um...Calm down." Stefan says and I glare at him. Everyone starts to stares at me.
"What?!?!?" I yell/whisper
"We'll talk later," Damon says eyeing me.
I sit between Damon and Stefan. They talk about Klaus the blood and moon curse and blah blah blah. I tune out most of it after a while I get up and go to my room. Not saying goodbye or anything. I was still mad that Elijah just left me in the middle of nowhere. When I enter my room I see my piano in the corner, it makes me smile. I go over to it and try to play a key, and dust flies everywhere. I try playing a song I remember once I get the right keys I start playing. It makes all my thoughts go away. I forget Elijah and everyone is downstairs, all I think about is the song. It reminds me of my mom.
