Hey guys so this one shot I have came up with while sitting in a power outage and so yea anyway this one is that Naldo has been drafted into the war and cyd writing a letter to him to find out some bad news a couple weeks later so without further ado let's get started

Dear Naldo
        It's been rough without you here. Taking care of Allison has been a challenge without you but she doing fine and still has your eyes, I've been thinking and it worries me every time your out there, I'll just be happy to have you in my arms. If your safe write me back

After Cyd wrote that letter she looked at Allison and stood up walking towards her crib whispering.

"Daddy will be home soon," whispered Cyd stroking her cheek

Allison coed at her mother gentle voice and smiled, so Cyd Picked her up and they went to the post office to deliver the letter.

————A Couple Of Weeks Later————

A couple of weeks have passed and Cyd hasn't heard anything from Naldo, she was starting to get worried until her doorbell rang. So Cyd went to the door and saw a man in an army suit.

"Hello may I help you?" Asked cyd

"Yes are you Cyd Ripley, Naldo's fiancé?"

"Yes I am," Said Cyd starting to get concerned

"I'm sorry but unfortunately Naldo passed away last night,"

At that moment Cyd felt her heart sunk

"Wait your joking right?" Asked Cyd

"No I'm not he got your letter and he wanted to write back but he didn't get a chance to deliver it so here it is," Said the man handing Cyd a note

"Thank you," Said Cyd shutting the door and she slid down the door and broke down crying.

A couple hours has passed and cyd finally had the guts to read the letter so she did

         I'm glad to hear that you and Allison are perfectly fine, I miss you to, but unfortunately things have gotten out of hand here so if I don't make it tell Allison that I love her and tell her lots of stories and when you decide to love again...find you a nice guy that will care for you and our daughter Allison, but don't you ever forget me I'll be watching you and waiting for you when it's time,

As Cyd read that she started crying then all the sudden Allison started crying, now at that point she was a single mother.

A couple of years have passed and Cyd haven't loved after that incident because she was afraid of what will happen like last time, she lived with Shelby and Barry because Cyds parents are to busy, so Shelby and Barry were happy to take in the two. Allison is now 5 and cyd and Allison were looking for a new home.

"Are you sure you'll be fine?" Asked Shelby

"Trust me I'll be fine, thanks for letting me stay here for 5 years," Said Cyd

"No problem, if you need anything me and Barry will always be there for you ," Said Shelby

"Shelby's right are you sure you want to do this?" Asked barry

"Guys I'll be fine you've done enough for me besides if I need anything I have you on speed dial," smiled cyd as she got into the car and drove away

"Mommy What was daddy like?" Asked Allison

"He was a sweet young man," smiled Cyd

"Is he proud of me?" Asked Allison

"Yes sweeties he proud of both of us," Said Cyd

Years later Allison is now 16 and is a varsity cheerleading at her local high school, Allison currently has won a cheerleading championship and brought home the first trophy

"Honey your father would be very proud of you," Said Cyd as she hugged Allison

"Yea I just wish he was here to see it," frowned Allison

"He is, he watching us from above and that's all that matters," smiled Cyd

Allison smiles and placed the trophy next to Naldo's army flag and his picture

"There now dad is proud of us both," said Allison

Cyd Hugged Allison
