Mariah POV•
So my mom just came into my room and told me that we're moving to Chicago in like 2 weeks and that she's going to rent out a uhaul truck and a driver to come and put all the big furniture into the truck so while that's happening she wants me and my brother to start packing our stuff and put it in boxes and put our clothes in suitcases and she wanted all this done until the end of the week.
Mariah : mom why are we moving
mom : because honey I got a job there it's going to pay me well and I found a better house up there I think you,me and Micheal can suit it up over there.
Mariah: well all this is too soon I have friends down here.
Mom: honey you can make new friends over there
Mariah: ok I guess so
Mom: start packing we leave in less than a month

Damn it's tough I really liked it down here this is were I spent my whole life living and growing up and I lowkey don't know how moving to the north part of the country is like 🤔 damn I pray to god this goes well not just for my mom but for my only sister her self 🙏🏼🖤
