Mark's POV:
' Damn why did the Queen B have to show up. '
I thought to myself as I walked away and watched as Jade caught up to my pace.
" Hey, you alright? " Jade asked as she cocked her head to the side.
' Adorable.. '
" Yea, I'm alright haha, so where should we go? " I smiled at her and placed my hand on her head.
" How bout the arcade dude? " Jackson slung his arm around me and practically begged me to play his favourite game together with him.
" Im down , Queen , Mark, are you guys okay with that? " Jade asked and I nodded , so did the queen girl.
Everything was going really well and we reached the arcade. Jackson and I played against each other on the dance machine while Jade and Michaela cheered us on, we then proceeded to play basketball and I was up against Jade.
' Damn she's so good at sports. Been watching her the whole time and she never missed a shot. '
I thought to myself and continued shooting . I lost to Jade by 10 points as she had a score of 170 and I scored 160. Jade's so tiny but yet she could shoot like a professional basketball player.
' She's so cool. '
" You're really good at basketball Jade, your shots are super accurate! Who taught you? " I was genuinely curious as to where she got her skills from
" Ah, I used to play a lot back in the day haha. " She grinned like a child while scratching the back of her neck.
' so cute '
" How bout we go watch a movie? " Jackson suggested and so all of us made our way to the cinema
" Why are you friends with her? " I asked Jade as I caught up to her pace
" Hm? With who? " She questioned back
" With Queen B, she's a major bitch. Why are you friends with her? " I asked
" She's not a bitch, she's super chill to hang with to be honest. I'm disappointed in you Mark. Tsk tsk, how could you judge her based on the rumours spreading around school." She said while shaking her head in disappointment.
" I'm sorry, I guess I should learn to see the good in the bad huh? "
" Yea Mark. You should." She said and flashed me one of the prettiest smiles I've ever seen in my life and the last thing that was on my mind was
' Damn, where have you been all this time. '
