Wishes

I was on my way home from a long day at work. Doing nothing and no one texting me. I am single I haven't dated someone for almost a year now. While I was on my way home I saw wishing stand with a person behind the stand. On the stand, it said ¨come on by and get your wishes,¨ I pulled over to see what it was about since I could use some wishes after a stressful day.

I told the guy ¨what do I need to do to get some wishes.¨

He asks me what I would do with the wishes with a concerned face. Once he asked me I realized that I didn't know what I would do with the wishes. So I told him I don't know what I would do. I gave him my hand as I was told to do by him. Then he said something that I didn't understand. He told me I was free to go and to not to ask him any questions. I didn't know how to use the wishes. Before I went to bed I wished for a girl fall in love with me. Since I am looking for a girlfriend I have been single for quite a while. I woke up the next day went to work and everything felt the same. I started thinking to myself that the whole thing wasn't real. I went to the store to go get something to eat. While I was shopping this girl bump into me.

¨Sorry my name is Emma by the way,¨ she said.

"It's okay I am Jimmy nice to meet you," I said.

"What are you doing later on today?" Emma asked.

"Nothing why do you want to do something?" I asked.

"Yes I am throwing a party at my house do you want to come," she said.

I responded yes I would like to come. I thought to myself is this the girl that is going to fall in love with me. I looked into her eyes she was pretty. I knew this was my chance to be her boyfriend. I went home to go get ready in my best-looking clothes and made sure to smell good. I was on my way to her house and I was happy. I went to her house and no one was there I thought I was early. I knocked on the door and she answers I asked where everyone was at.

"I was lying about the party I just wanted you to come to my house so we could eat and get to know each other." Emma said.

I didn't know if I should have stayed since I thought this was weird so I told her that I had a busy day tomorrow so I should get some sleep. I realized that she wasn't the girl for me. While I was at work the next day I saw her. I work in an office at a bank. I never saw her here before so when I saw her I was confused. She asks the lady at the front desk where I was. She then came and knock on my office door.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I wanted to know how you are and if you want to eat out later today?" She said.

"No, we can't be friends anymore," I said

She left my office with a confused face. I was just happy to tell her that we can't be friends. I was still confused about how she found out where I work. I went home and as soon as I walked in I heard a phone get a notification. So I carefully walked into the house and she was there sitting on my couch.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Can we just talk about what happens and why we can't be friends?" She asked.

"Get out of my house and stay away from me!" I yelled.

I didn't know what to do and how she knew where I live I started to get creeped out that she knows where I am. I went to sleep and made sure my doors were locked. I woke up and decided to call in sick just in case she was going to be there. I need to go get some food so I left to eat at a restaurant. While I was there eating my delicious food I saw her in the Corner of my eye. I got my stuff and left money on the table then left the restaurant. While I was leaving my car I notice that my tire was completely flat. I saw her walk out of the restaurant and walk towards me.

"Do you need a ride home?" She asked.

"No I called a taxi to pick me up," I said

"Are you sure I won't charge you any money for the ride." She said.

"Yes I'm fine, you can leave me alone now," I said.

The car ride home was long and boring. When I finally arrived home I realized that she could be stalking me. It could've been her who made my tire flat. I remember that I still have 6 wishes left. I wasn't sure if I should use them because of the outcome of this wish. I tried to wish for things to go back to normal but it didn't work. I guess you can't undo a wish that you made. I started to think of other ways to get away from her. I came up with the idea to wish to move to a different state and have a higher paying job. Before I went to bed I made the wish. I went to work the next day and the manager called me into the office.

"We have a job offer for you in the state of California and it pays higher than you do here. We also already have a house ready for you," He said.

"Yes I would love to accept the offer," I said in a very happy voice.

I was on the plane on my way to California. I got up from my seat to use the bathroom telling the person next to me to excuse me. It was really crowded in that plane. When I was going to the bathroom I saw the girl sitting down.
