Chapter 2

The next day

"*Onii-chan* wake up!!!! you're gonna be late!!"

"mhmm" i said as i got up and looked at the clock. 7:45. ohhh its just 7:45.... wait. 7:45?! shittttt!!!!! i started to freak out as i scrambbled to the bathroom to get ready, by the time i was out it was 7:50. SHITTTT! i grabbed my black holister cami and navy dark jeans put them on and ran out the door. I looked at my watch and it was already 8:00. Damn if im not at school by 8:15 im gonna be so dead! 

When i finnaly reached the school doors it was 8:14. Phew. That almost gave me a heart attack! i walked in almost exaclly when the bell rang. I ran to Ms. Hanferd's room on the second floor. Just when the bell stoped ringing i burst through the door panting. The whole class looked up and burst out laughing and Ms.Hanferd told me to see her after class. geez i wasnt even that late.

I walked to my desk still panting and sat down in my usual seat in the back corner. Supised to see that Eric was sitting right next to me. i thought about it for a second and passed it as a coicidence since no one really pays any attention to 'the loner in the dark'. After like 15 minutes i got really bored and just stopped paying attention to class and tunned out Ms. Hanferd's voice.

Boredddddd.... how much longer till next period? huh? i turned to the door to see how much time till we leave and caught Eric staring at me. wiredo. I tried to ignore it but i could actually feel his stare burn a hole in my back.

".....ary, please answer this question, Rosemary!"startled i came back to reality and relized she was staring at me and impationtly tapping her foot on the floor.

"huh?"

"not 'huh?' can you answer this question?" Ms. Hanferd said rather impationtly.

"no," i said almost ammediatly. why the f**k do you have to pick me? out of all 30 people here why me?

"thought so, Rosemary please pay attention to class next time."

Periods 2-6 and 8 went by pretty slow since i wasnt really paying attention. The only thing that was wired was the fact that in all my classes Eric was alwas next to me and either staring at me or at my notes but the posiblity for that is low since i had no notes. Period 7 was the only class i paid attention to since it was gym and i loved sports. When the bell rang i dashed out of school and headed home almost imidiatly. 

When i was home it was already 3 o'clock, i dropped my bag and took my homework out wich was (as always) a pain in the ass. By the time i finished it was 5:00 p.m. Bordom setteled in after 5 minutes of doing nothing. So I took out my laptop and listened to taylor swift 'safe and sound'. I also went on Hot Topic to do some online shopping. 

I checked my watch and it was 5 minutes to 6 so I got up and went to get changed. I wore my black AREO T-shirt and my black short shorts. I grabbed my sweater and ipod shuffle and headed out again. It was 6:30 bye the time i was at the park and it was already dark. Finnaly. I lived alone so no one would notice if i wasnt home.

i walked into P.S. 130 park and just sat on the swings. Because it was so dark no one was there. good, night time is the only time i can practice. i cant let any one hear my voice. When i turned on my ipod the first song was 'safe and sound' by taylor swift. i sang along, my voice ringing through out the park with no one in sight.

"...... i remember tears streaming down your face when i said i'd never let you go, when all those shadows almost killed your light, i remember you said dont leave me here alone,.............. come morning light, you and i'll be safe and sound....,"
