The queen of Sevlata looked over her kingdom, thinking.

Everyone had heard the prophecy, everyone above the age of fourteen. And the time was fast approaching. And no-one knew who it was.

Except...

"Delvi?" Her sweet, calm voice called through the marble halls. A kind old woman scurried into her room.

"Yes, m'lady?" She asked, giving a small bow.

"Could you bring the healer along? Or maybe the mage? I need to talk to them." She asked. Delvi nodded.

"Of course, m'lady." She said, backing out of the room.

Hardly ten minutes later, Delvi returned with the healer, bowing.

"The mage could not be found, m'lady." She said apologetically. The queen shrugged, turning and smiling.

"Don't worry. Thank you. You are dismissed." Delvi nodded and backed out of the room again, closing the door softly behind her. The queen smiled at the healer. "Hello, Lepo." She greeted.

Lepo bowed rather stiffly. "Hello, Queen Annabeth. Why do you call upon me? Is it the Prince again?" She asked, smiling back at her.

The Queen shook her head. "No, I call upon you for... Well, you. You know what I need to know." The Queen leant forward a little. "Have you any ideas? Anyone who may be the host? We lost the mother years ago."

Lepo paused for a while, thinking. Then she smiled. "I have a single thought. And I may be wrong." She mentioned the name. The queen smiled.

"Light." She translated quickly. "Her name is light. That... Is a big pointer. Any other pieces evidence?"

Lepo smiled again. "She has magic." She said simply. The queens smile grew.

"Oh, she is definitely the one. Have you told her of the prophecy yet?"

"Not yet. I decided to wait until she needed to know rather than have it haunt her for years." Lepo explained quickly. The queen nodded.

"Yes, that is a good point. Where is the child now?"

"She's on Spirit Island. It is her final year, If you can wait." Lepo replied. The queen thought again, staring out of the window.

"Have we identified the other three mages?" She asked after a moment of silence. The healer shrugged.

"You'll have to ask our mage about that." She said apologetically. "I don't know about it."

The queen nodded, and then turned to Lepo. "Thank you. You may leave now."

Lepo smiled and returned home.

A day passed without word of the mage. Then another. Then a week. Finally, Delvi returned, flustered with the old woman behind her. She knocked on the queens door politely and waited for the allowance to enter.

The mage smiled at the queen, bowing slightly. The queen smiled back as Delvi dismissed herself. "Tell me, have you heard of the other three mages?" She asked, getting straight to the point. The mage hesitated, then nodded. "Where?"

"There's on on the Senca side already, as we know. And I know that the mage of nature has emerged. Somewhere near as well. We have yet to find the mage of flames." She said quickly and softly. The queen smiled.

"So we almost have two already, eh? That's good. D'you know the exact location of the mage?" The queen smiled. The mage in front of her shook her head.

"I have a rough estimate, but I can't be sure. No nature around here has changed, so it's further than the neutral zone. Maybe one of our islands.

The queen sighed, sounding irritated. "Okay. I'll have people check the islands next month. You may go now."

The mage hesitated, then nodded, bowed and backed out of the room.

[Sorry for the shorter chapter, I may update later this week due to it being shorter. Two short chapters rather than a big one, okay?]
