You blink, froze on the spot, as your eyes are still glued on the fainted silhouette of a woman resting on Jimin's arms, his eyes burning on him.
How—No, it can't be. My eyes are playing games with me.
Jimin remains still, visibly nervous and uncertain of what to do, mouth agape with two pointy fangs peaking out, red glowing eyes and dark veins destroying any human appearance that he could ever have.
Instinctively, you take a step back and, as if that small gesture ticked him back to this place, his expression changes.
His eyes go narrow, piercing and dangerous, a shiver going up and down your spine.
He let's the woman slide off his arms, managing to help her unconscious body lay on the stairs, her shoulder rested against the pool wall, so that she seems to be sitting, head lolling forward.
As he looks at you again, that same expression on his face, reality strikes.
You must run.
With that demand in your head, you turn around and sprint away.
Never in your life did you felt like you're feeling, right now. What you just saw doesn't go with all the beliefs you have in your being. You feel like you're crazy, still denying what your eyes saw. Yet, your whole body is shaken, possessed with fright.
You go against the fence gate, panting, clumsily yanking it open, your hair flaying on your face, your lungs burning in despair as you take long gasps of air, feeling the throb of your heartbeat in your throat, your legs moving on their own, at this point.
Your mind is all over the place, racing with unfinished thoughts fighting for dominance, and you need to tell yourself this is not the time to think, forcing your whole being to focus on getting you out of there.
Nearing the end of the trail to the back of the house, you look over the shoulder, only finding the sided trees and the fence, no sign of him.
A part of you seems instantly relieved.
You stop on the outside patio, leaning forward while using your hands to hold yourself by your knees. You breathe in, deeply, feeling your whole body shaking.
Keys... Car keys...
One hand moves up to your jacket, desperately reaching for its pocket. You can feel your fingers grasping them, quickly taking them out, another sigh escaping your lips.
Finally, you look at your car.
On it sits Jimin, not affected with the fact he's completely naked, a subtle smile momentarily filling his lips, as he gives you a look.
JIMIN:
"Going so soon?"
You step backwards, the key tingling on your grip, your eyes wide, too scared to speak. If your heart gave up on you, in the next seconds, it would be understandable, for you feel like you're in the blink of a heart attack, so fast it is beating.
He rolls his eyes, moving away from the car.
JIMIN:
"Calm down." He says, starting to move towards you, his steps long, yet careless.
You're only able to stare, each step he takes the harder your heart pounds. Your legs become numb, the floor seeming to lose its solid state, spinning around you.
