One Saturday afternoon, Detective Kane was watching the TV while making lunch; the news was talking about her and her brilliant deduction against Whitney Spencer, who murdered for a sword. Hearing herself speaking with such confidence makes her smile and makes her want to do more, to inspire people to carry on what she has adapted to.

After her time on the news, which she very much enjoyed, she received a call from someone with no number.

"Hello?" she questioned.

"Hi, It's me, Jacob Kennedy, you know the leader of The Quarters?" the man replied.

Samantha knew who this was since Rose, her cousin and her friend, Katie, loved The Quarters. The Quarters were a band of four people, all in their mid and late twenties. A charming and really good looking leader, Jacob Kennedy, who had spiky, black hair, blue eyes and the best arrangement of clothes where ever he is seen, he was a vocalist.

There was another vocalist as well, Cassie Costello, who was a very attractive, fit girl with ginger hair, which had streaks of pinks hair. Her singing was exceptionally fantastic, with the ability to hit higher notes than anyone in existence.

There was also a male drummer, Curt Cooper, a board shouldered man, who was abnormally large considering the fact he was only about twenty five, he was very muscular and he has been the drummer for the band since the beginning. His black hair flying in all directions as he drummed, but no one cared, he was one of the best drummers in the world.

Finally, there was a young lady, about twenty three, who joined a few months ago, Sandy McKay, a short and skinny woman with strawberry blonde hair and hazel nut eyes. The band member before her, Clare Carter, was one of the best guitarists of the time. Sadly, she committed suicide, which let Sandy take the post as guitarist. Her skills are just as good as Clare Carter's, which was why she got in as the guitarist in The Quarters.

"Yeah, how are you?" said Samantha, concealing her excitement.

"I'm fine thank you; I called to let you know that you and two other people get free tickets from me." He replied.

"Why is that?" pondered Samantha, her heart beating at immense speeds.

"I have always admired your deductions and your ability to solve cases in such perfection."

"Thank you very much!" she said, she had never been complimented by someone so famous before.

"So, I want like to say that you well get free backstage passes to use before the concert itself, you're the only ones who will receive this so consider yourself lucky," he laughed. Samantha was getting really excited.

"You will also get front row seats for a close up view, so make sure to come; I've always wanted to meet you, you will receive the tickets in a few days."

"Thank you, I'll see you soon, Bye!" Samantha said, with a massive smile on her face.

She ended the phone call and immediately called Katie, as Katie had been a long time friend and Katie loved The Quarters ever since it was first made. She rang Katie a few times on video chat until she answered the call.

Samantha told Katie all about the phone call with Kennedy and how she got free tickets for the concert.

Katie squealed on the phone,

"I've never had the chance to go to any of their concerts!" Katie said.

"Which is exactly why I came to you first; I knew that they were your favourite," Samantha said smiling at her.

Katie squealed once more,

"I'll let you know when I get the tickets," Samantha began," but for now I have to go, I'm going to tell Rose about this as well, she would want to come."

"Sure, I'll see you soon," returned Katie.

"Yeah, I'll see you," Samantha said ending the video chat. She immediately called Rose through a voice call, she answered.

"Hey Samantha, how are you?" she asked.

"Very well thank you Rose, I just wanted to call you to say that I've got you a free ticket to The Quarters concert by Jacob Kennedy himself," Samantha said.

She let out a massive scream,

"No way!"

"Yes way, I should be getting them in a few days time and when I do, I'll send you the date for the concert and we will meet up, oh and I've invited Katie too," Samantha finished.

"Katie? You mean Katie Stan right?" she asked.

"That's the one," Samantha replied.

"That be nice, I haven't had a chance to congratulate her for winning the Iaido Tournament," said Rose.

"Sure then, I'll talk to you later, Goodbye," said Samantha.

"See you!" Rose said, excitedly.

Samantha ended the call, and got ready to go to the work back at the Police Station to discuss a case of suicide and the reason behind it. She got ready in such a good mood; she even bought herself a packet of Chocolate Bourbons to make herself feel better.

A few days later, while Samantha was cooking lunch for herself, she received a letter by Jacob Kennedy, with the backstage passes and the front row seats for the concert. The concert was going to be held at Wednesday the 15th of July, so she dashed to her fridge, which had a calendar stuck onto it and marked the 15th of July with 'The Concert' and strode back to the cooker and continued making the pasta for her lunch.
