Samantha knows who it was. She had clear evidence on who it was. However the motive is what is complex. There are three possible options, was one that the murderer faked a missing person case by changing their name and performing plastic surgery to change their looks so they can murderer Kennedy out of jealousy. The murderer's motive could be related to Clare Carter's suicide, or it could be a combination of both.

"Inspector Richards!" Samantha called.

He came running from the scene of the crime,

"Yes Miss?"

"Bring all the suspects to the scene of the crime, I've figured out who killed Kennedy and also can you turn up the heating on the stage?" asked Samantha.

"Why?" he turned, scratching his head.

"You'll see," she replied, with a wink.

He smiled and dashed off, while Samantha made her way to the crime scene. She lit a cigarette and took a few blows, reciting her deduction. Moments later, Richards came in with Cooper, Cassie and Sandy. He gave his salutation and waited patiently. It started to become warmer and warmer in the room, Samantha took of her jacket and everyone who was present at the scene of the crime followed.

Samantha strode around the room and began,

"The murderer had a grudge against Kennedy ever since Clare Carter's suicide," she said.

"Clare Carter? You mean Clare the Guitarist before Sandy?" asked Richards.

"That's the one; I suspect that the murderer has some sort of connection with Clare Carter. However, what's more important to discuss is the murder. The murderer used an excuse to part ways from us while the Kennedy wanted to practice his grand entrance so they can be alone. At that moment, the murderer strangled Kennedy with a thin cord that they could easily get their hands on, they strangled him until his throat ruptured and spilled out blood everywhere. Then the murderer dragged Kennedy to the right wing of the stage and left him there to die to the lost of blood. During that time Kennedy managed to write a dying message," Samantha said, pointing to the '2nd' written in blood in the right wing,

"Now, obviously the murderer didn't notice the message as if they did, they would have erased it, but clearly they didn't. After Kennedy died, the murderer took the body and placed it on one of the spotlights that was supposed to be pointed at him when he made his grand entrance; instead they see a massive puddle of blood, Kennedy's blood. After hiding the body, the murderer left and hit the murder weapon."

"Isn't that right? Sandy McKay!" said Samantha, pointing at Sandy, who stood there in shock.

"What evidence is there that points towards me?" Sandy screamed.

"Clare's Guitar in your room. It's missing one of its strings; Sandy must've used one of the strings to murder Kennedy, if you get another one of the strings and compared it to the strangulation marks made around the throat, the sizes and thickness match, Kennedy obviously knew that one of Clare's strings were used to strangle him so he wrote that the second string was taken by Sandy and used to kill him."

"Hang on," began Inspector Richards, "The fourth string was missing not the second!"

"In one point of view, it is the fourth, but if you look at a guitarist's point of view, it was the second string that was missing, he knew which string you used, after all, he did work with Clare for a while."
