Me, Toby and Cam walked back and of course we sneaked Cam in and we took him to Toby's bedroom and all of us three watched 'grown ups'
"Omg Adam Sandler is the best actor ever" Toby said while laughing at the movie
"Those are legit facts" Cam said
*Knock knock*
Me and Toby looked at Can and he quickly ran into Toby's wardrobe
"Come in" Toby said
"Y/n uh here" Mason said, handing me a letter
I stood up and took it, I looked at the envelope and I checked to see who it was from, I got scared seeing who it was from
Hey baby girl,
You're probably wondering why I've sent you a letter instead of calling you and you'll soon know why, if this letter arrived in time it means that'll you get a call in a few hours maybe days, I won't know because something that I never told you is that, I got diagnosed with cancer few months ago and the doctors told me they might be able to cure it but I guess they were wrong.
I didn't want to tell you before because I didn't want you to live your life with the idea that you wouldn't be able to have fun because of me, I wanted you to live your life at the best and now I'm probably in the hospital and of course I wrote this few days before I died, and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner I couldn't bring myself to.
I love you baby girl, take care of yourself and of your life, live your life at the fullest and be happy, enjoy your life with the love of your life, I'll always be with you, in your heart and i love you so much, mum xxx
Tears started spilling out of my eyes as my phone rang
"Hello?" I said
"Hello is this (y/f/n)?" She asked
"Yes, what can I do for you?"
"We needed to call you to tell you that your mother is in hospital right now and we tried to do everything we could but it's wasn't possible and we're very sorry because your mother died a few minutes ago and if you would like to come and see her then come to the Holindley hospital" she said, but my vision became blurry and the phone fell out of my hand
"Y/n what's wrong?" Toby asked, I stood up put on my shoes and I left, I left the room, ran down the stairs and I ran outside
"Y/n where are you going?" Someone called after me
I'm sorry mum, I'm sorry I wasn't able to be there for you in your last moments
I didn't know where I was going so I decided to take a left
