Luke, cam and I decided to start walking home, cam was on my right while Luke was on my left
I looked back at the hospital taking in every single features, I looked back at the ground in front of me I noticed Cam move a bit
I turned my head around and looked at him to see him looking down at the space between us, as I did the same I saw his hand so I decided to hold it
We locked hands and we looked at eachother with smiles on our face before quickly looking away
We were near Cams car, as we kept walking I saw a familiar guy that was across the street he was looking at Cam and then me
I then fully turned my head to see who the guy was better, by this point Luke went in a shop and told us to keep walking because he would eventually catch up to us.
Cam's pov
Y/n started walking faster and tightened the grip on my hand, we soon saw the car and y/n asked if she could drive, I started worrying but I gave her the car keys
She quickly started up the car and started driving home, getting faster and faster by the minute, I saw her hand gripping the hand break, I looked back to see there was no one
Why was she driving this fast?
I looked back again to see a car catching up to us, I then saw y/n looking at the rear view mirror to see the same thing and thats when she did an extreme turn to the left
"Y/n what's going on?" I worriedly asked but she didn't answer and that's when her phone started ringing
She looked at her phone and answered it
'yep we're definitely gonna die now' I thought
"How did you find me?" She asked scared as she kept doing extreme manuevers to lose the guy
I noticed she was getting more worried by the minute so I took the phone away from her and started talking to the guy
"I would recommend you to stay away from y/n" I said
"Ah you must be the boyfriend, well this is going to be fun" he said as he chuckled following y/n
"Leave. Y/n. The. Fuck. Alone" I said
"Or either ways what?" He sarcastically asked and that's when I lost it and stretched my leg over to y/n and hit the breaks as hard I could to then see y/n giving me a shock expression
We then stopped and so did the guy, both me and the guy got out of the car and soon y/n did the same
"Cam" she called out but I didn't look at her
"Oh no I'm so scared" the guy sarcastically said
I was soon near the guy, he then tried to punch me and I dodged it, i hit him so hard at the point where I knocked him out
I looked back at y/n and started walking back
"Cmon bby I'll drive this time" I said and y/n swapped seats
"How are you that good at driving?" I asked
"After my father left us, I got myself in some bad shit so I needed to learn how to be a 'pro driver' and how to shoot guns, I stopped once I met Mason, and I became happier when we became best friends and he introduces me to you guys" she explained
"And who's he?" I asked
"My abusive ex. I was able to run away from him, or so I thought, he's been searching for me ever since and I guessed he found me" she said, I looked over at her to see tears in her eyes that threatened to spill
I drove with one hand while the other was holdings y/ns hand
"We're here" I announced as I got out of the car, before y/n got out too, I locked the car and knocked on the door
"Finally you guys are back" Toby said as he hugged y/n
"Yea, I'm tired so I'm going to sleep" y/n said as she went up to her room, once I was sure she couldn't hear me I told the guys about her ex and what he looked like
I explained to them if they ever saw him talking to y/n or if they just simply saw him, to give him karma and everyone agreed
"Well I'm gonna go to sleep too, night guys" I said as I went up to the room I was sharing with y/n, when I opened her door I saw she was already in her pjs and was already asleep, I decided to change into some grey sweatpants with a white shirt before quickly getting into bed and putting my arms around y/ns waist
"I will always protect you baby" I whispered before quickly falling asleep
