Hayes Vickerson was the popular kid in school everyone wanted to be friends with. However, he's a book full of dark secrets. He's never met his mom before, but his father has taught him his ways of being troublesome. At sixteen, Hayes got himself wrapped up in gangs and drug deals; even getting his first tattoo underage and drunk. To say the least, he's been running from cops since freshman year and still hasn't stopped. Hayes is a smart kid, he's just got himself tangled in dumb ways of living.
Vickerson has stared death in the face multiple times before, although none of these trials have ever fazed him. He's a stubborn person who never seems anything but tough on the outside, despite him usually being quite the opposite of it. Hayes isn't very proud of himself for the person he's become, but he also doesn't do much to change it. It seems whatever he does, he still falls back into an endless spiral of mischief.
Hayes currently still runs around with his gang, but also has a job working as a mechanic. While this job is only a side-job, it does distract him from getting into more trouble than he already gets into. Meaning, if this job wasn't in his life, he'd probably end up behind bars or worse. Hayes has few friends he actually trusts and really just sticks to being reserved and silent.
