I Am Strong

I am strong,
For my friends,
For my family,

I am strong,
I support them,
I give them advice,

I am strong,
I make jokes so they smile,
I smile when I'm sad,

I am strong,
But it's hard sometimes,
To be happy when I'm not,

I am strong,
Sometimes I don't want to be,
Because it can be so hard,

I am strong,
Sometimes I just want to give up,
To retreat and forget it all,

I am strong,
But I think I'm not,
I think I'm weak,

I am strong,
But I continue on,
I stay together,

I am strong,
Barely but still fighting,
All for those I care for,

I am strong,
I tell myself this,
All because,

I am strong.
