3rd POV

---

Desmond struggled in his place on the table. A dangerous needle looming over him.

'Where's the laser?' He thought as the scene reminded him of a James Bond movie.

He really hoped his brothers' had a damn army prepared to break him out...

***

An army is just what they had if you counted a bunch of ACA students.

And if Altaïr put aside the fact that his twin brother had been kidnapped, this all felt like one big Senior prank on a rival school for stealing there mascot or something stupid. But instead this was serious and Desmond was inside the looming sanitary white building. That in itself was a terrifying thought, but he had to pull it together for Desmond and everyone else.

Ezio glared over Leonardo's shoulder as he began cracking the security system along with Rebecca. Hollie was looking everywhere impatiently as Elliot watched her sister. Lucy looked to be the most affected, outwardly, but in reality Altaïr wanted to kill someone, and Ezio looked about in the same mood.

"We're almost there Des..." he whispered into the night.

---
Desmond felt weightless, like he was no longer anchored to his body. Memories flooded him of a time the assassin Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad lived, he was somehow seeing things through his eyes, living out what he had done. How Kadar was killed and Malik lost his left arm. It was surreal. Flash foward sometime later and he's looking at a glowing gold map of Earth. He sees the apple of Eden again and again, strange cubical structures with a man who looked and awful lot like his grandfather. He saw Ezio and the strange ghostly woman called out to Desmond. Ezio had no idea who he was...he looked just like his brother...it was so confusing.
Where these really his ancestors and his brother's and himself just resemble them or was it something stranger? Was his Altaïr and Ezio the same as the older ones in his visions? What about his grandfather?
Before he could continue to be bombarded by the images and memories there was a loud crash. Desmond opened his eyes and was momentarily thrown off when his own face stared back at him.

"Des, are you alright?" asked Alraïr. Desmond nodded.

"Get me the hell out of here!"
----

A whole month had passed and Desmond still spoke nothing of the things that happened to him at Abstergo.

His family and friends were worried but no one dared pushed him to say what had happened. Altaïr was one of the most affected, he felt how lost Desmond felt and how confused he was.

"Brother." he said sternly, "Can you tell me what happened?"

Desmond was quite for a moment before turning to Altaïr.

"I saw things...I saw us...them, the Altaïr and Ezio from long ago...almost everyone was in the vision, grandpa even, he was a pirate."

Altaïr nodded.

"I was living through their eyes."

"Really?"

"But was strange is I didn't feel as if that Altaïr was a different person...he was you and the same can be said of the others."

"Your saying you believe in reincarnation now?"

"No-yes-I don't know!! It was strange."

"It sounds strange..."

"What should we do?" Altaïr thought for a moment.

"Malik and Kadar spoke of this not too long ago..."

"Then we can talk them..." Desmond said, "But there's something else."

"What?"

"I've been having these dreams lately and their starting to scare me..."
