Morvyn's POV.
He stayed quiet for a while. I started to squirm in my place."You're scaring me, Sting..." I whispered.
"Rogue, can you leave us alone?" Sting spoke, glancing at Rogue.
"Sure," Rogue nodded and walked off into the forest.
"Well..." he sighed while rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Well what?" I snapped.
"I haven't known you long, but I know where my heart lies." He took a deep breath. "And I have only had you on the back of my mind ever since I have met you. I worry constantly about you, and when I almost lost you, my heart broke. My world fell apart. Now, seeing you here, standing, breathing, talkng, living, I can finally relax."
"What are you saying?"
Sting stared at me while inching closer to me. He wrapped one arm around my waist and cupped my cheek with his other.
"Morvyn, I love you more than anything in this world. I will put your safety, happiness, and needs before my own if you give me a chance. I couldn't imagine my life without you. I love you so much," Sting murmured in my ear huskily.
"I love you too, Sting. I don't want to lose you, but-" I paused thinking over it. "I still have to tell the council my guild decision."
"Right," he swallowed but nodded.
"Speaking of the devils." I turned around where I heard and smelled the council coming.
"Have you made your decision?" gaurd one asked.
"Yes," I nodded. The three guild masters of Fairy Tail, Sabortooth, and Lamia Scale we're with them.
"Good. What's your choice?" the second gaurd sneered.
"I choose," I breathed. I looked around the gathered group of guild members, awaiting my answer. I gulped, glancing away.
"Hurry up!" gaurd two yelled.
"You shut your damn mouth," Sting growled deadly.
"Sting, breathe," I soothed him and grabbed his arm, keeping him from harming them.
"Morv-"
"Hush. I'm fine," I said as I rubbed his arm gently. He sighed, glaring at the guards with threatening eyes.
"What is your final answer?" guard one spoke in a more gentle tone than the other guard.
"I choose-" I gazed around the group once more before finishing, "Sabortooth Guild." Sting's eyes fell out of his sockets, trying to register my words.
"W-wai- wha-?" he stammered, facing me. "That's my guild..."
"I know," I shrugged like it was no big deal when it obviously was.
"That's my guild," he whispered again.
"I get that."
"You chose...me?"
"Yeah," I smirked. "Someone's catching on quickly." I giggled when he blushed.
Suddenly, he snapped out of his daze and growled while I raised my eyebrows at his sudden change in mood. He grabbed my waist, pulling me into his chest. Wrapping his arms around my waist, he burried his face in my neck.
"Mine," he mumbled, his hot breath fanning my ear.
"All yours," I whispered with a smile.
I felt complete again. I heard Aurora's cry from the sky and I gazed up at the sky to find her. Her wings were spread, flapping gently with another dragon, a Light Dragon, beside her.
"Weisslogia!" Sting grinned. "It's been a while, father."
"It has, my son," the dragon answered.
"That's the dragon who raised you?" I shouted.
"Yeah...why?" Sting looked so puzzled, I had to fight my laughter.
"He's..." I glanced at the dragon again. "Enormous," I breathed.
"Your teacher isn't as big as mine, but she's pretty huge too," he smirked.
"Guess it's a dragon thing," I shrugged.
"Guess so," he nodded.
He cupped my cheek again, pulling me in towards his awaiting lips, kissing me passionately. We broke apart after about 2 minutes to take in some much need air. My heart was pounding and my head felt dizzy and lightheaded.
"I love you so much, Morvyn."
"I love you more, Sting."
"That's not possible."
"Oh, but it is."
I had his keys. His house keys. I snuck them when we kissed. I'm so good...
I held the keys up so that Sting could see them, and I rattled them. Rogue's face paled instantly.
"How did you-" he wondered, patting his pockets in confusion. "Where did you-"
"Oh my, are these your keys?" I asked sickenly innocent. He nodded. "You must have dropped them because I had to pick them up."
"But you never bent down...how-" he wondered even more.
"Would you look at the time. I best be heading back." I turned around and started to pace away.
"Hey! Those are mine!" Sting yelled. I heard him racing after me, which had me sprinting off.
"Way to state the obvious!" I called back.
Things will never change.
