You were definitely picking up weight now, and it was starting to show. You didn't know how much longer you could hide the fact that you were pregnant.

One morning, you woke up feeling horrible.

You ran to the bathroom, barely making it there on time before you vomited your guts out. Your dad rushed in through the unlocked doors, holding your hair back for you and rubbing your back.

When it was finally over, you pulled back.

"Are you alright?!"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Stupid morning sickness..." You mumbled.

"What." He looked at you sharply.

"Hmm?"

"What... did you just say?" He asked very slowly.

You shook your head. "Nothing, sorry. I just feel kinda sick this morning." You straightened up, standing to look at him properly.

He stepped back from you. "Turn to one side?"

You turned as he requested.

"You've gained weight."

"Umm... Thanks?"

"Sage, you're too young, you're hardly even a teenager..."

He looked at you closely. "Yeah. Definitely gained weight."

"You know, Dad, you really need to stop sugarcoating everything you say to me. Don't be so afraid to say the honest tru-"

"Sage, I think we need to talk."

---

He had you sitting on the sofa, half-facing him as the sofa was a 90 degree angle and you were both seated on different sections.

"Sage, I need to ask you some questions, and I need you to be honest, alright?"

You nodded.

"Do you, or did you have, a boyfriend three months ago?"

"Yes."

He nodded. "Care to tell me who?"

"...No."

"Alright, we'll come back to that one. So." He looked up at you, looking you straight in the eyes. "Are you a virgin?"

You paused for a moment, looking down at the floor. When you looked up, he was still watching your face, judging your answer.

"No," you said after a minute.

He raised his eyebrows. "No..." He repeated. "No. And when exactly did you first have sex?"

You thought back a while, then gave him the exact date. You watched him guiltily, waiting for him to figure it out.

"...Ah." He sat back, crossing his arms and nodding once with his eyes closed, then looking at the ceiling and letting out a breath.

"So, let's go back to the second question, then. Does your boyfriend happen to be someone that I... Might not approve of?"

"Yes," you said quietly.

"And is he still your boyfriend currently?" Tony sat up and leaned forward to look at you.

"...Yes," you mumbled.

"Are you carrying the child of Loki?" He asked very calmly.

You gave a tiny nod.

"Well. It looks like someone's grounded for three months. I'm going to take the locks off of your doors, and have someone babysit you when I'm not here. As for the child," he shrugged. "We can figure out what to do about that later." And with that, he pulled out a toolbox and went to work with removing the locks from your bedroom and bathroom doors.
