You couldn't believe it when he told you. He was making you get rid of the child.

"Look, Sage. I'm sorry. But you're not legally old enough to have a child, you're practically a child yourself. Wait until you're eighteen, and then do whatever you want. But until you're eighteen, you live in my house, with my rules. And I don't want my underage daughter to be pregnant."

The surgery was over before you knew it. You had already told Loki what your father was making you do, but you hadn't heard back from him.

That night, your father was sitting in the living room, typing on his laptop. And you'd made your decision.

You stepped out to the balcony, then climbed out to the helipad. You just stood there for a minute, watching the people below. 'They all had their freedom,' you thought bitterly. 'They could love who they liked.'

Your father looked up from his laptop and did a double-take as he saw where you were. You closed your eyes and stepped to the edge of the roof, and he realized what you were about to do. He ordered JARVIS to get his Iron Man suit ready for him, and he ran out to where you were standing. He approached you cautiously.

"Sage?"

You turned to look at him. You had tears running down your cheeks. "You've banned me from seeing the man I love, and you've taken away my child. See how YOU feel when you lose someone you care about."

"I think there's a better option. This isn't the way out."

"This isn't your choice."

He was starting to look desperate, frantic to keep you from doing this. "Sage, please, don't-"

You shook your head. "Not your choice," you said softly. And then you took a step forward, off the rooftop, plummeting down to the streets below.

Tony Stark ran to the edge of the rooftop, watching you fall. "No. No. No! JARVIS, I need my suit!"

He jumped after you, his suit assembling around him. He closed his eyes against the wind, until the visor closed. But he couldn't see you anywhere.

No matter where he looked, he could only draw one conclusion.

You were gone.

---

You squeezed your eyes shut, ready for impact with the sidewalk below. But it never came.

You heard birds chirping. You opened your eyes, to see bright green ones looking sternly down at you.

"Sage, don't ever, ever try that again. If Heimdall hadn't seen you..." Loki shook his head. "I could've lost you forever."

"I'm sorry," you started. "I felt like I'd lost everything, I just couldn't-"

"Shh. You can stay here. We can get married, raise our children, and live our lives out here. Your father can't control you like he can on Midgard."

"Thank you."

And so, you lived your lives on Asgard.

You contacted your father a week after you arrived on Asgard, and you were slightly shocked to see how beat up he looked. He looked like he hadn't showered or slept for days.

You told him that you were going to live with Loki, and that nothing he said would change that. He just nodded. Once you were finished telling him everything he needed to know, he did one of the last things you expected him to. He asked to speak to Loki.

He was looking at his hands. "My daughter is the most precious thing in the world to me. I wouldn't trust you, if she didn't love you so much. You may be the god of lies, but I need you to honestly promise one thing to me." He looked up at Loki. "Look after her."

Loki nodded. "I will protect her with my life," he said quietly.

A/N: So that's it, muffins! I'm sorry for making Tony be a jerk, I love him really.

I might do a sequel...? Any ideas on that?
