(Thanks for requesting this one! Let_It_Beatles Sorry that it's a little late, I hope that you all enjoy!)
[Word Count: 1126]You really arent sure if you'll ever get used to this. The crowds screaming, singing the words of songs that you had written. They don't know the meaning behind your lyrics, but they sing them anyway.
In a way, you kind of like it, the adoring looks from the crowd. Although you are very aware that crowds were here for the band that you are supporting, you still feel as though they are enjoying the music, which feels great. Being the support band for the band Queen was amazing. As well as getting to perform everynight, you get to watch a free Queen show everynight, so theres no losing in this situation.
You have a great amount of admiration for the band and their skills, Brian especially. Being a lead guitarist yourself, you are very well aware of the amount of work it takes to be able to play the riffs that he does.
Right now, you are waiting by the side of the stage, getting ready to go on, nervous energy being the thing that fuelling you right now. You put your guitar strap over your head, looking over to your lead singer, giving him a nod of encouragement. It's time to go on now, you take a deep breath, and run out on stage, along with the rest of your band.
The crowd is cheering, and you smile and wave, taking your place on the stage. Upon hearing the drummer of your band tapping his drum sticks, you begin playing, as does the rest of the band.
Several songs later, your bands set is coming to an end, and it is almost time for Queen to come on. When the last song comes to an end, you wave to the crowd and leave the stage, the whole of Queen are waiting backstage to go on. As you walk backstage, Freddie puts his hand up for a highfive, which you respond to by obviously highfive him. Then you also feel a hand on your shoulder, and you turn the side to see Brian.
"You guys did really well tonight, Y/N."
In response to him, you kind of awkwardly mumble a response of 'Thanks Brian', giving him a smile. He nods, then when time comes, goes on stage with the rest of the band. You make the decision to stand and watch the show, considering that Queen, as well as being your friends, are also your favourite band. You stand there, watching in awe of all of them; of Freddie's voice, Rogers drumming, John's bass playing and of course, Brian's guitar playing.
The entire show was amazing, as per usual. You didn't expect any different.
As they come off stage, you smile at each of them, recieving smiles back from everyone of them. You watch as Brian puts his guitar away and walks over to you. You look at him, smiling again and of course, compliment his guitar playing.
"Thank you, Y/N!" After saying this, he keeps his eyes on you, which makes everything a little awkward, so you decide to speak up. Well... kind of. "So..."
Brian's cheeks flush red slightly and he scratches his head.
"Right, uh... would you like to come and have a drink with me? ...and Fred, Roger and John... and maybe your band as well?"
He ends his request with a nervous and awkward laugh. You nod in response and grin at him. After going and asking you band whether they wanted to come along as well, you and everyone else start to make your way to a nearby bar. The pathway to the bar is relatively thin, so everyone is walking in pairs in order to fit. Freddie is up front, talking to John who is next to him; Roger is walking behind them, next to the bassist of your band. You and Brian are walking next to eachother, which you definatley approve of; behind you are your drummer and singer. During the walk to the bar, you get a chance to talk to Brian. Although not talking about anything in particular, you are throughly enjoying yourself; and every now and again, his hand brushes against yours, which makes your cheeks flush red.
You finally arrive at the bar and go in, and you can feel Brians hand on the middle of your back, guiding you in the door, but it's almost as though he is trying to keep you close to him. Not that you are complaining.
One by one, everyone ordered a drink and spread out in different places in the bar. You decide to just sit on the bar stalls and sip your drink for now, as you don't really feel like dancing. You can see Roger standing by the side of the dancefloor, his arm round a woman's shoulders, clearly flirting. Freddie is dancing, and attempting to get John to dance (which doesn't take too much convincing). It seems like all of your band members are dancing.
Just as you realize that you can't see Brian anywhere, you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around to see him smiling at you.
"Come dance with me?"
A cheeky smile spreads across his face. You start to protest, insisting that you can't dance, but he grabs your hand and pulls you out onto the dance floor.
Several drinks and almost two hours later, you are still dancing with Brian. The song comes to an end, and you catch Brian staring at you. You meet his eyes with yours and smile, to which a warm blush spreads across his cheeks, it's quite cute, really.
You take a step closer to him, and his arm slips around your waist, bringing you even closer to him. You rest your arms around his neck, and in response, he presses his lips against yours. You can feel your heart flutter and right now, all that is in your mind is Brian.
You continue to kiss him until he finally breaks it, resting his forehead against yours and looking into your eyes.
"Do you maybe want to.."
He pauses, a slight smirk on his face.
"Come back to my hotel room?"
You nod, and you are very well aware that you are intensely blushing at this point.
