Elsa awoke the next morning with a smile plastered on her face. Why she was smiling she didn't know.  Elsa began to roll onto her side, when she felt an unusual amount of weight restricting that. She looked down to see an arm stretched over her.  Oh no. Elsa turned her head around to see the red haired Prince Hans. "Is it cold in here or what?" He murmured turning on his side, slightly bringing Elsa with him. Elsa gasped quietly. Elsa didn't mind so much that she was in this position, it felt very soothing. Hans began to wake up and Elsa quickly shut her eyes, pretending to be asleep. Hans  sat up, yawned and stretched then became aware of his surroundings. He smiled to himself, when he realized they were still in the ballroom. He looked down at Elsa, and watched her fake sleep. Hans took his hand and lightly stroked Elsa's face, seeing how beautiful she was. Elsa blushed as red as Hans' hair, and he obviously noticed.

"Elsa I know you're awake." he chuckled. Elsa slowly fluttered her eyes open, then began to fake panic. "Why are we still in here?!" she asked. Hans raised an eyebrow. "We fell asleep...I guess you had a rough night, You froze the entire floor." He said pointing to the ground. "And that's why it is so cold." He muttered under his breath. "Lets just go before anyone realizes we're gone." Elsa stood up and effortlessly walked across the ice. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Hans was struggling, a lot.  Elsa couldn't help but burst out laughing. "I wouldn't be laughing if I were you." He said. Elsa frowned. "Oh really? why's that. It's not my fault you're a klutz." she countered. Hans didn't reply for he found that hurtful, because his brothers would call him that. Elsa rolled her eyes and walked over to Hans. "Give me your hand. I'll guide you."

Hans took Elsa's hand and ignored the fact that she was blushing. They slowly walked along the icy floor, until Hans slipped. "Whoa I got you." Elsa said, as she put her other arm out steadying him. He smiled, and they continued. "Plus, I bet there is something I can do and you can't, so I'd like to know."  Elsa shrugged. "Well, I can't dance."

"That part is obvious." He muttered. Elsa glared at him. Once they reached the door and stepped out, Hans smiled. "Thanks." Elsa nodded. "The room should thaw in about an hour, so make sure nobody goes into there." Hans nodded, and took Elsa's hand again. "See you at breakfast then." He said, and lightly kissed the back of her hand, and walked off. Elsa smiled, maybe she did feel differently about him after all.

Elsa went to breakfast with a smile on her face, the king noticed this and questioned it. "You're awfully happy this morning your highness." Elsa smiled bigger and nodded. Breakfast was served, and everyone began to eat. Hans still wasn't there but Elsa didn't worry. "Your highness....Pardon my asking but where were you last night?" Harold wondered. Elsa frowned. "Pardon?"

"Last night? The King and I went to check up on you, since you skipped dinner, and you weren't in your room." Elsa panicked. "Oh um...I was taking a walk. I just needed fresh air and I wasn't exactly hungry. Its nothing." Harold raised an eyebrow. "Also, I didn't see Hans." Elsa felt herself begin to blush. "Well why would I care where he was. After all, he did try to murder me, if you haven't heard already." She said sarcastically. Of course she cared where he was now. What is taking him so long? Harold glared at her, then went back to his meal.

Elsa had enough. She stood from the table. "I'm done eating. I've seemed to have lost my appetite." Elsa excused herself and left. She went into town and bought a few pastries, for her and Hans, If she could find him. She was still hungry she just didn't want to have "detective Harold" all up in her business. Elsa approached Hans' bedroom door. She froze, just as she was about to knock. She could hear someone softly crying behind the door. Elsa slowly knocked on the door. Hans gasped softly, surprised that someone was at the door, hopefully not hearing him cry. "Go away! I'm not in the mood for anymore of your tricks! I've been tortured enough!" He shouted. Elsa thought about leaving, but she realized, he just needed someone to talk to.

"It-....It's Elsa." Hans' eyes grew wide. He wiped most of the tears from his eyes, and opened the door. All Elsa could do was stare. His eyes were all red and puffy from crying, and he had a bruise on his cheek. "Hans...who did this to you?" She asked. Elsa invited herself in, and shut the door behind her. Hans faced his back towards her. He didn't want to seem like a coward. "N-Nothing Elsa. Just forget it." Elsa sat the pastries down, and walked around to Hans front side. "If you need to talk, I'm here for you." She said. Elsa listened to her instincts and pulled him into a hug. Hans was surprised at first, but then accepted it. Elsa found this sort of awkward at first but she went with it.

Hans let go of her, and stared into her icy blue eyes. Elsa lead him over to his bed, and sat him down. "Now why don't you tell me what happened, while I ice this bruise for you, yes?" Hans nodded. Elsa took Hans' hand, and smiled. She definitely felt  differently about him. But how would she tell the others?
